What weapons are people using most in Raids? Scout/sniper rifles? I've had bad luck with weapon RNG so I'm still rocking all blues, wondering which weapon type I should buy with marks before I try Vault of Glass so my damage isn't gimp.

I normally swap between Auto/Scout and Sniper/Fusion. Depends on what part.

Most likely a special weapon, those are generally your most reliable big hitter weapons since heavy ammo can be at a premium at time. Fusion Rifle is easily my #1 weapon in both strikes and pvp.

So, first and foremost, as far as I know, the only element that matters is void. And that's just for Praetors/Minotaurs. For them, you either want a void fusion rifle or a void shotgun. Vanguard has the Comedian with void damage if you want to take a look at that. During my first run, I used a pulse, but that's because it was the only legendary I had that was fully upgraded. Now I'm using a scout though (and that's because I have one of the ones with added damage). If you're buying it though, whichever weapon you prefer, I'd say buy that. If you prefer autos, buy a legendary auto. If you prefer scouts, buy a legendary scout. The one weapon I would not recommend is rockets just because it's so easy to blow yourself up, and I personally think machine gun is better since you have that 30 second wait between raises.
