I really hope they don't. I know you and others are putting effort in, but you have to know that it is a beta. Bullshit, like "beta-access" actually meaning early access which we are going to have to pay for eventually, is shit that gamers need to reject.

Bungie hasn't committed to the data carrying over, but it most likely will unless there's some major issues during the beta.

I'm finding this game a little underwhelming. It's like borderlands with 0 personality and unclear direction. Also, monsters are either prevalent or nonexistent. Beacon quests are standard MMO fare: fetch quests.

Major props to the seamless multiplayer aspects however.

It feels too much like an MMO however. (I know that was their design goal, but MMOs are filled with "chores")

See, I don't see any problems with it in this situation since getting access to the beta is one of the easiest things -- namely, committing to purchasing the game. There was no application, no one was denied, hell, they even gave out three invites per preorder.

I don't think we're getting the full story in the beta. I think there's going to be a lot more cutscenes and direction at retail. There's already a big difference from alpha to beta on what story they are revealing, but even the grimiore has a lot of "redacted" entries. I think they're just being secretive, kinda like when SE censored the cutscenes in the XIV alpha/beta to prevent story spoilers.

I'm definitely liking what has been revealed so far though, it has a lot of potential to be a great story.

Anyone else think that the fireteam of 3 is too small? Got a group of 4 of us where one person is constantly left out. The only thing we can do together is crucible. We even tried getting the 4th to do the sane "mission" as us and tried to get him in the "party" but found no way.
