I mean a regular legendary max vs a raid max. These have to be different values or it wouldn't matter to have 4 raid capped hitting 30 vs 4 regular legendary capped not

Raid/Exotic gear caps at 30. Normal Legendary gear caps lower (I don't know the number off-hand).

The difference is that King's Watch isn't regularly accessible yet. The guy went in and looted something that you shouldn't be able to loot yet. VoG is open, and is available to everyone.

That's what Krandor told you before, which is why people were confused. Raid/Exotic armor caps at 30 light per piece, giving you just enough light to hit 30 with a full set. Normal legendary caps at 27 light per piece.

There have been multiple people banned. The Intrusion Shell guy was the first (that I know of), but there have been others who have been banned for it as well. Personally, I think it's probably the people who have posted videos and openly taunted Bungie for it, but I have no proof of that..

Again though, the point of this was just to say that it seems like a stupid and unnecessary risk to take.

I'm being thick. I read 30 and 27 as levels and not light. I should have figured that out when I realized you could hit level 28 and nearly 29 with regular legendaries

I don't mind having to work for kills per hour but is there a better place for engram farming than the venus area that spawns vex/fallen?

Did anyone else try hard mode/ normal mode gatekeeper yesterday? I think it was bugged/glitchy. We were having trouble putting away mobs before regen kicked in. Some of the minotaurs were eating 4 gjallarhorn shots... I was killing them with 2 the other day. The gatekeeper on the inside was going to 0 and eating 2 more rockets and surviving. We finally gave up because of the bullshit.

I'm perpetually stuck at 27 it seems. I can't manage to find people to do weekly and raid stuff. Grinding out engrams in hopes of getting legendary items to break for shards and stuff makes leveling up gear painfully slow. If anyone wants to do something that can net some upgrade mats I have a Hunter ready to roll. Feel free to add me on PS4- Darkdreamer6899

While I'm having a blast playing I really wish this game had more ways to socialize and some form of search methods to find some people to do these raids and things.

I've had a few people now just do nothing but run around the arenas, never kill anything, and just seemingly find ways to screw shit up. Yeah I know welcome to the Internet... it just seems to be becoming more and more common lately.

I think a lot of people are learning that hard work and no work equal the same rewards. Why should I bother helping to win a strike when I can still get a legendary or exotic for your hard work?

@ Kaslo Yeah I'm getting my rank but I'm lacking in the points to buy the gear. It probably doesn't help that I don't do PvP, cause honestly I suck at it lol, I could probably have more points by now.

@Myrrh Yeah unfortunately that's true. If people are going to leech though I'm just going to bail most of the time, especially if the 3rd person isn't very good and they struggle on trash.
