I usually run Symboite on gunslinger but if I'm on gunslinger I'm probably running Vision of Confluence anyway or now Vex. If I'm using Vanquisher I'll probably be on blade dancer so the reload speed helps.

Symbiote is great for anything non PvP. But having radar when scoped is the greatest perk ever.. of all time.

I think the big complaint is that they claimed that level matters, where if it does is a completely negligible effect. Except for seeing more Suros because lower level players are somewhat discouraged from coming in because of the advertised effects, it felt no different from standard control.

Sooo, I think that the lack of lower level players is coloring people's impressions of the level advantages. I know it's a small sample, but whenever I've had someone below 10 on my team, I haven't seen them have many (if any) kills. Same thing with below 20 though. I don't think I've seen a single person below 20 very high on the list. Have I been killed by a level 17? Yes. But I don't think that translates to "zomg, it's not working, these peons should be ants to me!!!!" It's a selection problem -- IB is selecting out the people who we'd notice the biggest difference.

And before I forget what I came to post.. Apparently you start getting random IB rewards once you're rank 2.

I don't mind it too much because it means I don't need to use a perk on getting a second knife and can stick with Chain. I really wish Symbiote was Int though. The pictures from the beta had it with Int. So far I haven't gotten a piece of raid gear with Int, so I'm kinda screwed there..

Nope otherwise id have the REP marks i need to make my vex hat 29 for our raid later.

had them confused since its the same mission just diff modifiers. but we won the heroic and i had to do it a second time for credit. and all it gave me was coins. and a buncha blue bs from "vangard"
