I feel grossly underinformed about this game. I know basically nothing, especially compared to some in here haha...dont know anythign about these codes, what they do, or where to input them lol

Most are not for much. Some get you new emblems (just for looks), two give shaders (change the color of your gear), and the rest are for Grimoire cards. Some cards give bonuses (for instance, if I'm not mistaken, killing X number of an enemy gets you their card which you can rank up as you kill more, and will then give you more money per kill), but we can't actually check these out yet, so no idea what they do atm.

Anyone with the CoD shader on PS3 or PS4 been able to redeem it yet? I know it's active on Xbox, but haven't heard about PS. I've been seeing it on Bungie players though (although I imagine they can just create codes whenever)..

I got the game Preordered digital and the pauldrons downloaded but they wern't 'installed' till the game launched

Alot of people got the game early for Ps4 and said the code didn't work but it started working after the game launched

Ok I had 0 interest in this game but some people trying to get me into it, but I have followed 0 news at all so please bear with my noobs questions

I am really bad at FPS usually but w/e

1) Is this game mostly aimed at Casual or Hardcore FPS players?
2) Is this game more PVP or PVE in the sense that I heard that the game is always online, IF i wanna do story or w/e does that mean someone can just come and kill me for no reason?
3) I have never been a 'gun' fan is there any melee or mage class or is it really just a FPS with RPG elements?
4) I usually buy my games digital since they are cheaper cuz of no tax on PSN, since I am not a FPS fan should i try it or I would waste 69$ (not because the game is bad but mostly because it is not my type)
5) Nope i have no friends to go try the game before buying or not

1) It's casual or hardcore. Whatever you want to put into it.
2) PvE only. PvP is your choice but PvPers have their own maps for that.
3) FPS with RPG elements.
4) It's a ten-year shared shooter. You can do the story completely solo (says Bungie). There will be things that are for 3-6 players (raids). There is no chat unless you are grouped.

Edit: I feel, for anything, if you aren't gung-ho, wait. It's not going to vanish if you don't buy it day one.

1) It has elements for both hardcore and casual
2) It has separate pvp, all of the pve elements are co op, no fear of having someone killing you.
3) It is all FPS sorry, but the rpg elements really do work. They tried to tie the basic tank dps mage archetypes into the specials each class has, which do change the way you play somewhat, but in the end you do need to get them shooter skills up with lots of practice lol
4) No clue, you shoulda tried beta =/
