Burning: I died more to the adds on that fight than anything else. i would get the boss down to 30%. and then bam snipers appear out of nowhere. fuck my shields and then i go to hide, boss runs up to my wall and just stomps through the wall and kills me

Haha jesus christ I was so rusty when I first started. I haven't played an FPS since vanilla Counterstrike in like 2000. So I snag the first weapon and think "welp this is a tutorial, so time to zerg." Definitely almost died in that last room when I just charged on in and there where like 7 guys. Also, I am terrible at throwing grenades; I may have set the world record for longest overshot on a group of mobs with an accidental sprint + leap + toss.

Protip: Change your look speed in the options to at least 5; the default setting is way too slow.

So upon dinging level 20 at a level 20 strike. I proceed to earth to check out the "heroic setting" . I see 5 difficulties listed: easy (level 2, hard level 4, hard level 20, impossible 24(levelup to unlock), and impossible 28.
Also unlocks the weekly heroic strike as well as the daily heroic story. My first piece of "light" gear has 5 light, and i check to see how much i need to ding 21, and 5 doesnt even show on the bar lol.
Been checking out the vanguard vendor. what the fuck at the prices? helmet for 120? chest, arms, and leg for 65, and showpiece for 30. Why is the head 120 if the rest of the gear is 65. I understand they want you to grind but thats just rediculous. Weapons are 150 each.
You get 2 per regular level 20 strike in vanguard strike mode, and 3 in level 22 mode. 5 for heroic daily story, and 3 for the weekly heroic strike.

How is everyone liking the game so far? I've heard it's pretty grindy and repetitive with very little exploration. Played the beta for like an hour and thought it was ok but nothing mind blowing.

got to 15 doing pvp/story/strikes. Do it with a group of friends and its fun, doing it solo might not be, no clue.

I've been playing solo, and I'm loving it so far. Up to 11 through mostly story, patrol, and pvp. Even with the changes, still liking auto rifle -- just wish I had one in the model as my old Cydonia.

Same...solo with story/patrol/pvp just unlocked venus...and auto-rifle is <3

I hate when i do a mission and jump around only to remember with 5 sec left that there might be a gold chest in the room. Which I usually find right as time expires.

Oh, and I just got a cydonia, its pretty cool. Been going back and forth between auto and scout rifles.

So. the level 20 heroic daily strike, we get juggler( No ammo drops for your equipped weapon) Boy does this sounds fun!
Actually wasnt that bad took less than 5 Minutes. Now the weekly heroic strike on the other hand...
Arc burn ( arc weapons do 300% more damage) and.... its against sepiks prime. so all servitor and fallen weapons do 300% more damage too. Have fun!

I was gonna say, Sepkis Prime should basically never hit you because of how you can abuse the cover at the back left of his arena, but I forgot the Shanks' guns are Arc damage as well.
