Btw if anyone missed it before it got pulled off reddit, release date of Taken King is supposedly Sep 15th and will include 3rd subclasses for everyone. It was confirmed by the mods before it got ganked.

So I started leveling up IB on my Warlock alt. Thought I would hate Warlock, but it's pretty solid; big fan of Flame Shield and Fusion Grenades. I've also been using Last Word instead of Thorn to try something else out. If your aim is solid, it is really tough to lose a gunfight with TLW as the thing fires crazy fast. The only thing that is driving me crazy is not having Blink jump; I keep tapping jump a second time for the teleport and instead I end up floating around in the air like a pinata for shooting.

I have also had some terrible matchups lately. If anyone wants to team up later, I'll be back around 8:30 or so until I hit rank 3 at least.

*EDIT* Well, I beat it. The good news is that Taniks dies in about 10 Gjallarhorn shots, but the fucking Walker room is a massive pain in the ass. Died three times in there, but fortunately I was able to keep Warlock reraise. Not looking forward to this mission without Reraise. lol.

This evening, a tipster sent over a large marketing sheet for The Taken King, which we’ve been able to corroborate with other sources. The sheet—which lists The Taken King at $40—offers a handful of details surrounding Destiny’s next expansion pack. For example, it confirms the existence of a new subclass for each of the game’s three classes, along with a new elemental super ability: an electrical storm for Warlocks (arc); a gravity bow for Hunters (void); and a flaming hammer for Titans (solar).

In addition to the usual additions we’ve seen in both other Destiny expansions so far—new Strikes, new PvP maps, etc.—The Taken King will have a raid pitting players against Oryx, father of Crota, who is apparently looking for revenge (and leading a new army of baddies called the Taken).
