Just attempted the Nightfall weekly and got the tank to .5%..... then wiped. Did it again and got to the tank to 10% and wiped again -.- .

There is no regular nightfall. Nightfall is a buff (Sends you back to orbit if the entire party dies).

Six purple Heavy Weapon Engrams in a row have come out blue pieces of junk, but I got a second purple helm because that's totally useful.

The complete RNG has got to change...this is ridiculous after Crucible matches.

Been trying (and failing) to farm ascendant shards and energy from public events, so here's what I've got. Currently I hit three zones that are easy wins, the Steppes, the Divide, and the Mothyards.
In an hour, the times they spawn are:

Mothyards: x:00
Divide: x:10
Steppes: x:15
Mothyards: x:30
Divide: x:40
Steppes: x:45

So, you can hit up six an hour, right? Well, in the time it takes for the Divide to start, to kill the walker, and then make it to the Steppes, too much time passes, so if you do the Divide, you can't do the Steppes. I'd like to develop a route that works better, but didn't wanna spend time on it tonight. Ideally, finding one that occurs at x:20 and x:50 would solve this problem.

I did them for an hour, and only got one, so I've got two theories. Based on reports, the start times are correct. So, my two theories are either it's coin flip for whether it occurs or not or, the times are preprogamed for which times will occur. I'm planning to go back this week and see if my current schedule holds up or not.

I hadn't even looked at the legendary hunter chest I got until just now with starting a new character. Hand Cannon/Sniper Ammo, INT and DISC. Doesn't oesn't get much better then that.

The only thing I've really gotten from the chests of note is materials and ship patterns. Mobs are much more likely to give up blues or better.

I am interested to see how long it takes them to patch some of the big flaws in the game.

They really have to increase the amount of marks rewarded. It would take pretty much all free time in a regular week to cap both marks.

Also, does the Ship Wright start accepting Spinmetal trades later in the game? I just hit Mars and there is no option to trade Spinmetal for Marks

I did it for about 1.5-2 hours. Found a few chests the video didnt point out. I got a few blues from chests, not many though. Got a legendary warlock band engram to drop from trash mob, which got decrypted into a rare.

Its a nice little farming circle, but I think venus mob farming is better.

Crappy green gear is all I ever see on that spinmetal route. I kill the trash in hopes for a drop but rarely do I find a blue.

Also strike bosses have too much damn HP, feels so damn boring after a while of hoping around to dodge shit.

The only people that accept materials for Rep are those that have Reputation to build in the first place, I think. The Shipwright doesn't have a Reputation bar.

Yeah 25 is to unlock it. Honestly though unless you exploit (for lack of a better word) the map it's nearly impossible to finish at that level.

I am like 70% to 25, but I haven't found an upgrade in 2.5 days...
