Huffpo has called it for Walker with 25.1% reporting. It's a fucking landslide.

In that graph it's above the DIAGONAL line that's better, so he's doing better in a LOT of places.
They must have thrown some money a few weeks before this, gave some poor people some freebies, and all of a sudden the dude is jesus reincarnate lmao.
Hahahaha it wasn't even fucking close.
I never knew it, growing up with a public school teacher father and nurse mother, that I was living so high on the hog. Man it's a good thing that children in the future won't have that solid middle class upbringing thanks in part to union jobs that I did.
I never knew I had it so good.
He's talking about limiting the carbs intake of union workers.
how you know fox news and radio have a big influence:
On every website where republicans are posting, and have been posting the last few months, you see "union thugs." These are not words that naturally go together - I'm actually not even sure how they fit together. But everyone says the same thing.
Also, the wisconsin campaign donation rules for this election were fucked up
Clearly you have never had the pleasure of dealing with accretion. If you had, you would know that "union" and "thug" go together like chocolate and peanut butter.
When you go to work one day, and are told you are going to be in a union, even though you didn't vote on it, never even heard of it, just flat out told you are now in a union, and the you find out they are reducing your pay and your vacation to better match their pay scales, you will know why "union thugs" is a very appropriate term.
I was actually in a union for a short time. If I need to pay some to ensure fair treatment and to have someone in my corner in a case where shit hits the fan - so be it. The union is impossible without everyone paying into it. It's pretty fucking ridiculous that unions are demonized today. A really big shame. Are they all perfect? no. Do they have some corrupt people in high positions? yup. welcome to people. Hey I don't like the governor - let's get rid of the entire state.
Lol seriously? America sucks once again.
This coming from the land of ice pick people?
So after all that, one democrat did win - a state senator successfully won a recall election in Racine County, giving Democrats control of the State Senate by 1 vote. The damage has been done by a year and a half of Republicans controlling all 3 branches, but at least there will have to be some sort of compromise to pass laws now.
Sucks though, watching so many people vote against their own interests. Republicans are so fucking good at politics, while appearing to be so inept. It's frustrating.
Funny thing is the exit polls showed that the voters who ended up voting for Walker, if they were the only voters in the country, could elect Obama over Romney by about a 7% margin. It seems that the people of Wisconsin at least partially voted to keep Walker because they felt what he's done didn't constitute a recall election.
Basically yeah. The number of previous Walker supporters who were upset enough to vote Barrett in the recall because of his union-busting sneak attack and/or his poor treatment of governance in general were pretty much perfectly offset by former Barrett supporters who thought recalls shouldn't happen unless criminal activities occurred.
(of course that's still to be decided but yeah)
I wonder if Feingold could've won, but I'm kinda glad he didn't risk it. 3 borderline red counties from 2010 went blue in 2012, 3 borderline blue counties went red in 2012. That's all that changed.
Attempting to disenfranchise voters with longer residency limits and voter ID laws, pushing to prevent hospital visitation rights for homosexual couples, working tirelessly to break the unions of teachers and nurses, giving huge tax breaks to corporate interests from outside the state despite saying that the state is "broke", peeling away environmental regulations to facilitate strip-mining interests and destroying recycling programs, and after all that, still being the worst state in the nation in job creation.
I could go on - but basically just think of whatever flashes through your brain shortly before you have an orgasm, and that's what Scott Walker is doing to the state.
Attempting to disenfranchise voters with longer residency limits and voter ID laws
ID required to drive = ok!
ID required to drink = ok!
ID required for strip club = ok!
ID required for hotel room = ok!
ID required to get on plane = ok!
ID required to vote = FUCK NO! THIS UNFAIRLY ATTACKS MINORITIES! HOW WILL ILLEGALS VOTE WITH ID LAWS?! YOU CANNOT REQUIRE ID FOR VOTING. RACIST!!!!
Yep, and the courts agree.

Because you see, here in a democracy, we value the right to vote above just about anything else, as we should.
