Once in my life, I was so hungry that I heated up some chicken (don't act surprised). Instead of waiting for it to cool off, I tried to eat it right away and the chicken was so damn hot that I could actually hear the spit in my mouth start to sizzle up. I'm pretty sure I scarred my tongue doing that.

I haven't been knitting any hats recently except for ones for me, and they don't have ears on them. Though I am rather pleased to note that I was ahead of the latest trend and doing the cat ear hat thing well before this winter's fashion of really badly made animal hats.
