Billy was my main 3rd party member, mostly for the hand to hand battles where he'd pull cannons and double-barreled shotguns out of nowhere to fire at enemies. Buying ammo wasn't much fun tho.

I played the hell out of this game back in the day. PS1 rpgs were the best. One thing that always gets me about the story is the sort of nostalgia/melancholic nature of it all. You know what I mean, like

the past lives, and how each time, it didn't work out between fei and elly's reincarnation. that lost underground city, etc.

just plain awesome story. so epic

and giant robots. man, they don't make them like they used to =\

what was that game? eternal champions or something for sega, kinda reminded me of that too. and lunar. like a big pot of win. no weird fatalities tho.

Right on. I still have the original game though, so playing it for me hasnt been an issue. For shame on you that got rid of it QQ How could you after the way it ended?
