Only reason I'd doubt it is because she's commented on other peoples bad breath (her younger brothers, her other friends') and they definitely didn't have it.

I think she's oversensitive to it. If it doesn't smell like mint, then it's bad breath.

I mean I might have bad breath.....and since I'm with her and she's really concerned about that type of thing, I bought gum (even though I hate gum) and now I use listerine. I can understand bad breath, but I really don't think I have it. But that hasn't stopped me from trying to make it decent for her. Either way, the way it ends up, is that I always think I have bad breath unless I've just brushed my teeth. I can't kiss her, or be near her unless I have a fresh, minty mouth. So nights go like this in my head "Man that dinner was so good, I can't wait to get home and brush my teeth and use listerine so I can kiss her." which is bullshit imo.

If I have a nasty mouth, then my bad. I just don't think that's the case. My experiences and evidence suggests otherwise.

Edit: Her other neurotic shit is similar. The things she points out in myself and other people are NOT issues, she's just really overly sensitive to things.

Everyone needs a damn car kit. You would be surprised how far this will go (not to mention how much better your gf will love you) to making your lady happy.

1 stick of deodorant
1 pack of gum/tick tacs/etc
1 bottle cologne
1 shaver/razer (optional)

Keep that in the glove box, or between the seats in your car. If the girl calls up and you can't take a shower, those things will still keep you moderately fresh. If your girl can tell you are not taking care of yourself properly she is not going to be inclined to stick with you. I know a few girls who go by the "shoe rule". If your shoes are scuffed up, and you are unshaven (not saying no beard, but unkempt) then they won't even give you a look. I like keeping a razer or shaver in my car for a quick after work touch up. You would be surprised how far a soft face goes after a long day of work. (PS. I normally have a small gotee without the mustash, but go clean shaven if that's the girls preference)

I can't say I'd like to date anyone that was not taking care of themselves either, so I can see why they are that way.

In all honesty, judging from the last thread you started about relationships and this one, you're a total push over. You're too much of a soft guy and women can spot that from a mile away. The fuck at the shoe rule? Do you mean dress shoes or what? Cause I sure as fuck wear day to day shoes so I don't have to worry about them being scuffed (i.e. my boots are beaten to shit and while clean my go to pair of sneakers is well-worn as well..)

are we just giving ho-tips now? always keep a small bottle of contact solution (you can just buy a travel kit that has a case too) in your glovebox in case you need to spend the night at someone's house. Those Colgate Wisps (waterless toothbrushes) are great to use instead of gum btw, but as always be careful of brushing your teeth before oral

It's really easy to hurt yourself while brushing your teeth, even though sometimes it's only microscopic tears or holes or something. Easy enough to catch nasty stuff with that. General rule is you try not to brush your teeth beforehand if you know you'll be going down
