Saw it today, was fucking terrible. It is practically a shot for shot remake of the first, which I loved, but in Bangkok. I literally did not laugh once.

Did anyone expect anymore? It was entirely the same premise as the first, would only go if someone else payed.
Riding the hype from the first is all they hope for and probably the third if this makes enough money.

For this "Era", hangover I was great, but in general, movies have been worse off as compared to their nineties counterparts, imo.

This. I love how they were able to be funny without being completely and utterly dirty and vulgar. Tommy Boy probably still stands as my favorite comedy... That being said, I'll probably end up watching this cause I'll get bored sitting at my house for the weekend. Seems the opinions voiced here were exactly as expected.

Saw it yesterday and freaking loved it. Not as awesome as the first one but still an awesome movie to watch while you're bullshitting with your fellas. Niggas need to get off this "I watch comedy with a top hat and monocle" shit and just enjoy the movie.

Top hat and monocle? I didn't have any exceptional standards, I just wanted it to be funny. Instead, it was just terrible.

I didn't expect much honestly, but that shit was hilarious. Way more over the top than the first movie.

Ed Helms and Galifianakis stole the show IMO. Oh, and I feel Mel Gibson as the tattoo artist would've been a lot more funny.

I have to say it was awesome, nearly as good as the first. I thought it was going to fall flat with it basically being the exact same premise as part 1, but if anything the familiarity of the characters made it great. Would watch again and will be buying a hard copy.

What did people seriously expect the sequel to be? The movie was fantastic. I didn't think it could be possible for someone to like the first one and not like the second unless at some point in between watching the two you got a stick up your ass.
