Hilarious, spent the movie enjoying it for what it was and not thinking of what part in the first one such and such part was like. Would see again in the theater.

didn't think it was all that funny. terrible story and non-funny scenes were terribad.
lol
Just got back from this and loved it. Anyone that bitches about it being the same premise should be shot.
Ghostbusters I/II were about fighting ghosts that were suddenly appearing everywhere because some ultimate ghost dude/butchlady wanted to destroy the world.
AND THEY BOTH WERE FUCKING AMAZING.
Spoiler: show
Not sure of these which would be my favorite but I have to say rock on for making a solid sequel in a land where sequels have been sucking for the most part.
http://geektyrant.com/news/2011/5/28...amsterdam.htmlThe Hangover Part II is kicking the summer off with a bang, and is expected to top $135 million in domestic box office over the holiday weekend. It is very likely that there will be a Hangover Part III. The big question, where will the wolfpack be headed next?
Jamie Chung told THR that at the Las Vegas premiere, "Probably Amsterdam. If you think of the coolest, craziest cities in the world, it would have to be Las Vegas, Bangkok and Amsterdam.”
Justin Bartha (Doug) said, "Amsterdam could be a different kind of hangover. It could be fun. And Zach [Galifanakis] will probably already be there.”
After hosting the Billboard Music Awards Ken Jeong said he would be interested in a third film. He goes on to say, "I would absolutely do a third one [with] no fear of typecasting. All of my fame and success in the last few years is directly due to The Hangover. Those guys are like family to me, so it doesn't matter -- big part or small part… Well, I guess I know a thing or two about small parts.”
Jeong also mentioned that director Todd Phillips refers to Part II “the Empire Strikes Back of the Hangover trilogy,” so a Return of the Jedi would make sense.
I loved The Hangover Part II an highly recommend you see it in theaters this weekend. The wolfpack and characters in this film are so amazing and have such great chemistry together. This is the best comedy of the summer so far. Amsterdam would be a great location for the third film, which I believe will be greenlit soon.

I doubt most people are watching this with top hats and monocles, it's probably due to all the hype that the movie has received. Anything less than the greatest comedy ever will be a let down, pretty much. Of course it won't live up to those expectations but thank the extreme marketing for it.
at least everyone has low standards for the third one.
Spoiler: show
If you thought it was terrible, you were doin it wrong. You had to show up drunk and laugh your ass off at everything.
Me and the wife loved it. I thought the first was better, but anyone who expected anything more then hangover in bangkok was fooling themselves.
Spoiler: show
Or a transvestite penis.I didn't think it could be possible for someone to like the first one and not like the second unless at some point in between watching the two you got a stick up your ass.
While Ghostbusters I&II similar plots (Supernatural being trying to take over the world) they were still different movies.
Both Hangover I&II were told in the exact same fashion with the same opening, ending, etc.
You can make an outline of the first Hangover, and change names/places/words and you'd have Hangover 2
Spoiler: show
Now I will only change the bold parts to make Hangover 2
Spoiler: show
There were minor differences and the things that they did on their night that they could not remember were different, but it really took away from the film because you knew ultimately it was going to end the same way the first movie did so there was little to no surprise. I went in with low expectations and I am happy I did because the movie wasn't really all that funny except for the parts with the monkey and Ken Jeong calling people niggas
Ken was the greatest part of this movie, he's growing into a good on screen comedian. The trap was pretty funny. The pics at the end was actually better than the first but overall, the first was a better movie.
Are people really this easy to please now days?
It's exactly the same movie?...
Possibly. I was telling my gf that even though the movie made absurd amounts of money, it doesn't mean that the movie was good. The movie had a lot of hype because the first one was pretty damn good and it was one of those movies that had a cast that a lot of people didn't really know and it caught everyone by surprise, so it helped to fuel the desire to see the second one. When I went and saw it on Tuesday night at 10pm (theater was halfway full) there wasn't a lot of laughter during the film and when we left, I did not hear a single positive comment from anyone that passed us on the way out. I think they could've done a better job with the movie and if they make a 3rd it will be interesting to see how many people go and see it. Also calling it now since the second was the same as the first:
The 3rd movie is where Alan somehow finds some woman to love him and he is going to get married in Amsterdam, but the wolfpack gets back at him for screwing them in the previous movies and they drug him but accidentally drug everyone else in the process.
Sure is some monocles in this bitch.
Was an okay movie, but damn, y'all bitches getting so upset that it was the same shit.
