That one made me laugh the first of the many times I saw the trailer. By the time I saw the movie, it was like w/e.

This movie was over marketed everywhere with commercials on networks at least 4-6 times an hour. After awhile avoiding trailers gets annoying. Like avoiding the slutty drunk person at the party.

Saw it last night since I couldn't find a theater/time to see it while I was in Europe during the premiere, and could not stop laughing was tons of fun. Totally saw the tranny bit coming and Stu's father-in-law being so chill about his cello player/surgeon son losing a finger was kind of weird lol. Also where was The Dan Band's cameo? I was waiting for the asian wedding band to bust out some perverted lyrics but fucking nothing

I loved the movie as well, honestly I watched one trailer for the movie months ago, I don't like to overhype shit, and I don't watch TV outside of my computer so I don't have to worry about being blasted with trailer advertisements. I was expecting it to be just like the first one and I loved it just as much as the first one. We went baked though.And I feel like it's similar to watching a TV show, all the characters played the same parts doing their same roles, its just a different episode. Nobody complains that Barney Stinson isn't completely awesome for doing the same shit (almost) every episode of HIMYM.

I think Teddy losing a finger wasn't a big deal as far as the cello playing goes because if I remember correctly he lost a finger on his right hand, and his right hand holds the bow and he presses the frets(?) with his left hand.

However it did feel a bit awkward that he didn't put up a ton of fuss.

I enjoyed the movie but it is what it is.

Its a poor remake of the original.
