Need a new bike

Aside the obvious answer of stealing a bike, does anyone know where I can find some good, cheap, used ones?

I am trying craigslist, but honestly, all of these adds are more of a rip off than your plain old bicycle shop.

Check and see if the local newspaper has a classifieds section on their website, if they do you can sometimes find a great deal that way.

Also the obligatory steal one.

Try a local college campus. Lots of people trying to unload bikes when they graduate for next to nothing. They often have bulletin boards or school newspapers where this stuff gets advertised. Good place for cheap furniture too.

Hit up your local police auctions. Goodwill may be another place to find one cheap.

Make advertisements for a bike convention on campus and ask for donations. When you find the one you want, say the convention has been closed and all bikes have been donated to good-will. It wouldn't be a lie from what I understand about your circumstance.

Ppl keep telling me the driver is always at fault lol but my accident was clearly my fault. It's too late to do anything now, since we didn't exchange information, but now I'm just curious even though I'm not enough of an asshole to go afte rsomeone when it was clearly my fault to begin with.

The only stealable bikes in this area are faggot bmx bikes that go 10mph and chil;dren's bikes. Possibly a mountain bike. I'm too used to road bikes and travel too far to/from school to downgrade in speed that will add 25-50% extra time each way to my school day.

Well I'm talking for free, sure, I'd use a bmx bike until I could find otherwise, but as far as purchasing a bike goes, I'm not buying one as a replacement for a road bike, in the same sense I wouldn't buy one w/o a tire.
