Wow, kinda glad I passed. I mean 4.99 ain't bad. But they should have just done a tie in episode focusing on one set of characters, instead of going for 5 different stories.

Not worth $5. Just watch some youtube let's plays of it.
You can buy the DLC on Steam now. However, I still can't play it. :\
Just finished it. I can see the mixed reviews since each character's chapter is relatively short and they don't do much to explain their backstory except with a few nods here and there, but I thought it stayed true to the game and thought it was enjoyable since the ending plays a major role in how the game will start off.

There are 2 things I kind of wondered about though...
1:
Spoiler: show

This really seemed like it was just filler leading into a second season and introducing characters we are probably going to encounter and not have as main characters.

Yep you're right. Replayed through a few scenes on my alt and checked it out.

took me less than an hour to finish that dlc. frustrated at some of the things that they did w it.
Spoiler: show
aside from that the dlc felt incredibly unfinished w ith where it ended most of the stories. was kinda pissed when I got to the end snd realized there was nothing more
So I just started playing this tonight, and got a little confused...I chose Carley in ep1, but Doug is with the group when I started ep2...is that supposed to be like that?
Nope, sounds like you either got a fucked up save or you didn't choose to continue from your episode 1, and instead chose to start a fresh episode 2. (Doug is the default if you skip episode 1). Go back and watch the "Previously on The Walking Dead..." at the start and see if you notice any other things that were different from your ep 1 playthrough.
Found a fix, looks like it's a limited glitch that sometimes hits Steam version users. Have to rewind to the last chapter of the previous episode, let it play out through the credits, exit the game before starting the next episode, then copy a file from the Steam directory over to the game's folder in your documents and everything carries over correctly from there.
ugggh fuck this buggy ass game, after dealing with that issue the game decided not to save me playing through the next two chapters...
Bonus bug: When Katjaa is holding Duck outside the train, Duck just completely disappeared and she was holding air for 20 minutes lol
Season 1 GOTY edition discovered
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7399/1...d5561545_z.jpghttp://www.insidegamingdaily.com/201...estop-listing/The ESRB, short for the Entertainment Software Rating Board, has rated a Game of the Year edition of last year’s smash hit, The Walking Dead: Season One. This of course comes as a surprise to just about no one, as the game took home countless awards, many recommending it as the must play title of 2012.
TellTale Games has yet to make an official announcement regarding such a product, but given the game’s rampant critical and commercial success, a special edition re-release seems all but inevitable.
Adding to that premature ESRB posting, Twitter user LifeLower discovered a GameStop listing that has the game pinned at $30, and one that includes the 400 Days DLC from earlier this summer, the game’s soundtrack, and a behind-the-scenes video.

I'm really hoping the first episode is a flashback where we play as Clem.
GOD HELP THEM IF THEY KILL MY GIRL CLEMENTINE
Which in a twisted way was why I loved the game. Seems like in damn near every apocalyptic/disaster story the always write the kids off being damn near invincible. Though yeah I'm sure there will have to be a flashback or something since there is a huge gap leap between the end of episode 5 of season 1 and the end of 400 days, which seems to go right into the start of Season 2.
Well, with the sales going on PSN, that was enough of an excuse to finally pick up 400 Days and finish that off. Curious if they'll take any tidbits Clem would remember choice-wise from your Season 1 save, assuming she's not killed off early on for emotional rollercoastin'.
