I dont remember who I last gave the advice to, but just go to the masseffect.wikia.com eezo page and just mine those planets, you'll get everything you need probably.

Actually, strike that, every single goddamn planet without eezo on it is worthless as you can mine for materials much more efficiently by scanning eezo planets.

I know on the PC I can just increase my mouse sensitivity and go twice as fast.

usually I start off trying to do the four corners, a decent amount of time one of them will be a bomb but at least that way you'll be able to start over quickly, usually though you'll get a big chunk cleared right off the bat, then you can kinda pick around at the edges where you see the 1s before starting to stare down the 2s and 3s, if I see a 4 or 5 I just let it chill as long as I can and take those last
