Well, hovering over the links shows parts of the official site I could get to manually, so I dunno. Just seems weird.
I recall a thread on the official forums about something similar.

A few posts up, there is someone who put a picture of the email he got.
I haven't played since the first month after launch, but there's a free trial going on so I might as well give it another go. I played a rogue before, mainly Bard, and found it dreadfully boring (and I was a career FFXI brd so...). Any suggestions for fun classes to try out this time?
Anything cleric. It's all you need in this game.
Bard's only boring if people don't need healing. Properly geared, Bard can be a decent offhealer in terms of HPS. Also fun in pvp!
Bout a month ago (dunno if it got nerfed in 1.4) one of our bards got bored and made a battle bard spec for T2's. Was something retarded like 700dmg self buffed on a dummy. Not a raid spec in the least but he had fun making terribad dps rage that they got beat by a bard.
So eh, what server is active? I'm on Millrush and I've literally seen....nobody. Nobody in my level range chat that is responding and nobody in towns. Maybe everybody is high level but nobody is around. Where is everybody!?![]()
This is one of the issues i have with the game and something that i'm not used to since i've never played a raiding progression mmo before. Seems that the majority of people only log on for raid nights and that's it. I suppose it's just not this game but this model. We need more non raiding content to keep people logged in that isn't dailies.
Freeholme always has loads of people at every level range from what I have seen. People just aren't very social on the whole.
Another question. What's a good DPS build for a Warrior? I'm going to be doing some PvP too along the way too.
Also: What's a good tank spec? I tanked my first instance yesterday @ level 18 as paladin and it seemed pretty straightforward. (Keep in mind I'm only level 20)![]()
Pvp servers have lots going on, but pve servers have the problem like Alderaan said.
On pve you can raid or pick flowers. Throwing your pvp armor on, walking into the opposite factions aoe's in raid rift/invasion, then turning your flag on will lead to some fun though.
http://www.riftstatus.net/ anything below a 1.9 rating will most likely be dead.
I'm on Briar.
Wow, 1.57 for Keenblade eh. We did have the top Guadian guild leave so i guess it makes sense.
I have brought up a possible server transfer to our leaders. I love having tons of people on every day to do stuff with.
Freeholme is only a 1.7 and very active so I wouldn't say 1.9 or below is deserted.
I retired my warrior so take this with a grain of salt, butAnother question. What's a good DPS build for a Warrior? I'm going to be doing some PvP too along the way too.

Champion is good for DPS, Paragon and Riftblade (or PvP soul) being your 2nd and 3rd respectively. Beastmaster is good for levelling and not very widely used in PvE or PvP (not to say it's bad... game is young and many things aren't explored). Riftblade main with Sword/Shield sub Paladin for defense and 1h Weapon Specialisation can work nicely.
For tanking, some combination of Paladin/Warlord/Reaver/VoidKnight. Warlord and Reaver have great defensive traits and AoE threat. Paladin and Voidknight is basically Physical vs Magical reduction.
Yeah, Byriel is active and it is at 1.8...
if you want to read up on warrior tanking, just check ciderhelm's site now that he went over to rift

if its too much information at once (which it kinda is) Ill try my best to give pointers on which souls to use etc.
Well for being level 20, it's not that big of a deal. Paladin seems easiest with Warlord/Reaver as 'subs'. So far, it's worked out pretty well. It gets hairy sometimes when somebody pulls mobs from different packs by mistake etc but so far, the Paladin (for me anyway) seems to work fine especially at level 20.
Is there a BG type site for Rift? I am trying to find a place with a decent amount of info for me to read over about souls and such, and I hesitate to trust stuff on official forums.
Not really. Honestly, there's a lot of good information on the official boards, it's just a matter of sorting through the worthless posts to get to it.
Yea, official boards have a lot of theory crafters.
