I came. Did they forget we already know what he looks like or something though? They seem to be putting a whole lot of weight behind HOLY SHIT RYU UNMASKED when he has been unmasked before. Oh well, this shit is gonna be fucking awesome and it will fill the hole in my heart that new Dante has made. Hopefully the harder difficulties will be a bit more... "legitimately" difficult this time though. Them fucking incendiary shuriken spamming mother fuckers can eat dicks, bags of them.
Less nuclear explosion volcano turtles this time too please...
This is the first Ninja Gaiden to be developed without Itagaki right? Will be curious to see what changes may be made to this iteration. Hopefully better camera support at least.
Itagaki will probably pan this game so hard it's not even funny. All because he's not on the team. He'll be trashing his former co-workers like he never knew them. The guy has on huge ego. More than David Jaffe. At least with Jaffe, he can make me laugh. Itagaki is just a straight up tool. He is right on a lot of accounts, but NG has never been the best. The original was great. NG2... not so much. I barely remember anything about the game, other than it being annoyingly cheap. I'm usually not one to bitch about game difficulty, but that game was utterly stupid. The biggest thing that comes to mind was when you were in Russia or whatever (the snow level) and you had those guys with the multi-rocket launchers. I raged so hard.
Anyway, looking forward to see the direction this game goes in.
EXCITEMENT. I agree with the unmasking thing. Kind of odd how they're making an impression out of it when they've not only shown his face in the past, but also more recently with concept art for Dragon Sword. Really looking forward to see the direction the game goes in as well. Looks like all the blood's back. The toned down blood to glowy shit didn't cut it.
Play NG1 in hype to this. Can't wait.
This made lol with how amazingly accurate and true it was. Reminded me of this: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/445123
Looking forward to a game that is hopefully not ultra rage inducing.
What made Sigma 2 difficult was the camera, other than that it wasn't that hard.
Didn't they make Sigma 2 way easier than the original? Same way they made the first Sigma ridiculously easy compared to Black. Shit definitely wasn't hard solely because of the camera either way (talking about the harder difficulties, not normal of course).
I got my ass kicked pretty hard w/ Sigma 2. The boss fight on the plane with that other ninja almost made me throw the controller at my wall.
sigma 2 was easier & kindda boring
gaiden 2 felt too cheap at times & loads more enemies (that one stage in the jungle ruins where you had to cross some cave bridge while fighting waves of those 8-armed robot spider ninjas made me quit)
for some reason, I feel black was juuuuust right but I haven't played it in forever
Never touched the others, I beat Sigma 2 in Path of the Warrior difficulty np, a friend couldn't even finish the first level. I tried Path of the Master or w/e and beat the first lvl w/o probs. Ennui took over and it wasn't worth the damn trophy.

Ryu: Carnage Edition
Sigma 2 is definitely easier than xbox version. The only thing that almost makes me wanna say Sigma 2 was harder than xbox version is OHKO grabs in Master Ninja Mode, other than that, it's really not that bad. I could being doing so well, then outta nowhere I get grabbed and instant game over and have to fucking restart all over... The girls chapters are chapters that's actually a pain in the ass, Ayane's being the hardest most would say, but I had easier time on MNM for her chapter than I thought I would, even got rank 23 or so on leaderboards for her chapter.
Definitely can't wait for NG3, kinda wish it'd release this year but oh well

Lol... big talk, I really hope they can deliver something that tops Bayonetta though. Interesting that they don't seem too bothered about difficulty this time. Wonder if that has anything to do with Itagaki's absence.Yosuke Hayashi, producer of Ninja Gaiden III, has told Play that Bayonetta is ‘old’.
“I think Ninja Gaiden II is already outdated,” Hayashi explained in an exclusive interview with Play. “That’s why we are making Ninja Gaiden III from scratch.”
When prodded about the impact Bayonetta has had on the 3D action genre, Hayashi added “Bayonetta has some good stuff but Bayonetta is old, game design wise, already.”
He also says that Team Ninja ‘doesn’t care’ about living up to the infamously tough difficulty levels of previous outings in the series.
“Difficulty level is not the main element we are focusing on,” Hayashi explained. “The focus we have is that a new Ryu Hayabusa is the main character for Ninja Gaiden III. Also, we are aiming to be the number one 3D action game. If we can do that we are fine not focusing on difficulty level. We don’t care. But to prevent misunderstanding, Ninja Gaiden fans will still really love it. That is our responsibility. We make sure the fans of the series are satisfied by our game.”
