Probably the only half way decent ls that is still around fromt he HNM scene on Odin is Limitbreak. All other ls's broke and/or just went down to about 7-8 members. ProcTheRed is rolling 50members deep, they have a few decent members most are the gimp tard slaves to make the core members empys. Woopatroopas have some good members including lolfreonski. But yea welcome to Odin.

I run Blacklotus (Silian is name on Uni), and Hova is right on most points. We have been basically closed to recruiting for closer to 2 years, this is mainly due to the very low turnover we have had, and ever since Abyssea has come out we didn't feel there was any advantages to adding new members, we still run with an active 24~ members. This makes event nights some nights very crowded we split up and do multiple things, but adding to that mix seems bad. We do run a no bot/cheat attitude call us backwards, but we just never felt the need to we didn't do ground back in those days we opted for Einherjar etc. Id say the "Higher then thou" attitude would be a little off the mark, we generaly try to work with all the other shells out there to not have claim wars on zones/mobs etc, if some shell has 5 more Sobeks to pop we would perfer to go farm other stuff then get in a poping war. I'm pretty sure I activly talk with most all leaders on the server and am on for the most part a Civil to friendly relationship with all of them. Don't get me wrong there are a few groups/people that we don't work with/give a shit about, but usualy takes an extream dick over to get to that point.

Not exactly excited about this merge, going to be on a server with 2x-2.5x the population, when its already ugly to try to get shit done in Abyssea doesn't seem very fun. Hopefully they release some new content soon that will help disperse some of the population around the server more.

Didn't know Sil posted here. But yeah, his LS is one of the few good, respectable and easy to get along with shells. People likely have zero chance of getting into BL, for the reasons he stated, but I've never heard of anyone bitching or getting lulz at the expense of his shell.

I've been meaning to number all the pyxis in a zone and see how things line up...but are there really X pyxis devoted to red, X to blue and X to gold chests?

I dont have proof of that no, but I do a lot of BLU Charged Whisker burning, and with only Capped Amber/Azure/Perel and no ruby, there are many of times where one pull youll get a good portion of gold/blue and 1~ red box. Then the next pull you will get 25 kills and only get 2-3 ruby boxes and no azure/gold. It happnes only when there is a heavy load of people in the zone aoe burning. But happens way too often to be just "Bad luck" so my assumption is that there are 3 diffrent pools for boxes, Blue/Red/Gold and that the zone can only have X of each box up at any given time. If that box capped, then you just get no box at all.

again I have no inside knowledge to the interworkings of the code etc, but through experience this seems the most likly situation.

Yeah, its not that we are a club of people that hate everyone and look down upon all others, we just feel that at a point, adding bodies just hinders the shell, and the new people more then it helps. There are plenty of good people out there, and we would love to give them a home, but honestly with basically all of our members with 2 to.. god what is it 6? years of tenure and having about 24~ active bodies... There just is not much room to add new people. And we meet our Galka cap a long time ago...

Carbuncle is a barren wasteland. Abyssea on the weekends is a little rough, and the JPs can go eat a dog's dick for all I care, but overall there are only a handful of shells that are worth a shit and even then it is mostly low man.

While there are some amazing players on the server they are in the most extreme minority, and are small tight night groups. I think it will be interesting to see more people online but I can only assume that it will mean more overcrowded abyssea zones and a fuckton more idiots.

Siren is very JP dominated, Gukumatz/Amun/etc are only really overcamped during JP hours and in NA time there's been many occasions where nobody is killing them.
How is it with Diabolos? anyone to watch out for?

Sounds a lot like Diabolos tbh, I get free Amuns during the day, but once JP time hits there's swarms of ppl. It's kinda like that for anything high-desire (Guku, all the heroes t2 vnms, etc)

Only 600ish on now, but that number balloons up during JP time. Im guessing JP time is gonna be a bummer soon, particularly weekends.

Whitegate's a ghost town, Endless PJeuno shouting, im assuming you know how it is. Im guessing that this happens on other servers as well, but we've had GM's come to the moghouse in PJ and d/c everyone afk at the MH entrance, cuz ppl do that shit wayyyyyyyy too much, to the point that it's hard to walk sometimes.

Linkshell related, there's not gonna be a huge influx of NA competition really, only 1 or 2 serious linkshells left on the server imo. Free KBs, etc. (Haven't been in Aery in years, so dunno what to comment for that, turtle was easy to get though for someone who needed an egg.)

WoE has never advanced past 2 and 5 as far as i've known here. Everyone just does those 2 fluxes, and solos in 1 and 3. (I solo in 2 to drain clear chests though) JPs get super butthurt if you try to go in their flux 2 runs and solo, and I've had several now tell me that it's their culture that nobody should go in their runs, it's for 5 people only. This is kind of countered though that whenever I have a team doing flux 2, random JPs enter and solo. So, whatever.

No clue on Einherjar status, dunno if Yugl might be able to answer that one better. I haven't done it in close to 2 years.

In terms of people to watch out for .... lol. I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm sure you've seen the same idiots though. I suppose if you wanna get the best idea of the idiots here, go check the ffxiah server forums, all the dumbasses on the server are addressed there really, in a nice concise package (at least, the vocal ones). Many JP crews are pretty nice, we had a crew wait patiently for us to finish 7 sandworms the other night, they were very courteous. Others not so much, had people show up n try to pop Briareus and Sobek on top of us a few times. I'm sure you know similar crews.

Anyways, TL;DR: Diabolos sounds just like Siren. JP time is sucky.
