From what I seen whenever I play FFXI which isn't all that much lately but SoA zones on Phoenix seem so full that I rarely get a claim on one of those 15 min nms. But it always seems like that on Saturday.

I really hope they do, but it depends on who they've been listening to. there's a group of retards (who shall not be named) who have been very vocally screaming on various forums that more competition is good and that it's too easy as it is. if they listen to that contingent, god only knows. I'm happy leviathan isn't being touched, we have enough overcrowding and jps to last until eternity...
Are there seriously only 400~600 people online on some servers at these times? (like 1pmEST until 6~7ish)
I don't think I've ever seen Odin drop below 1000... Starting at around 6, up until 9pm, population steadily grows, 1200, 1400, 1600, all the way up until 1800. Then when JP time kicks in it goes up to 2300~2500, 2800+ on weekends.
This does include all the afk people though, I'm sure that when there's only 1000~1200ish online, at least 20% of those are probably afk. Are these 400-600 numbers I keep seeing actual # of people online (including afk)?
If anyone is curious, 863 people on at 4:30 east (generally the quietest part of the day on Bahamut).
Well lets see...
667 on Unicorn at 4:38pm EST
Hey while I'm F5ing this thread, any info on Dynamis situation on Fenrir? I doubt they're going to instance it and relic trials are probably going to be X kills of fragment NM.
972 people on Phoenix at 1:43 PM pst, yea I can see why they are merging servers.
This kinda blows, I happen to like it when there are only 713 people online.
During JP prime Ramuh is pretty full, about 1800 to 2000 people normally. Trying to do stuff on a Saturday morning is absolutely impossible. During NA prime it drops off to about 600 though, sometimes as low as 450. You can usually find things up and about.
There aren't any HNM linkshells left on Ramuh that I know of. Maybe the remnants of one or two still hanging about, but nothing large.
It's going to be weird to see new names and lots of new people during NA prime on Bahamut.
Too lazy to look through 13 pages. How many playable servers will there be left after this?
Sorry, I'm too lazy to go back and look it up or figure it out on my own to tell you.
FFXI is now becoming Everquest in terms of server spread. Awesome
wtf all these servers with <1000 people on, I'm so fucking jelly of you guys. Why is odin being merged again?
Hmm, I hope Phoenix is awesome. I really hoped that it would have been Odin tbh since I have friends there. But hey I get to meet new people now!
Phoenix is not awesome we don't like anyone.
Edit: Just kidding i look forward to the new people
Does Ifrit have a strong EU, JP or NA population?
JPs. JPs EVERYWHERE. Can exceed 3k+.
merged thread about merges in merges for merges
aka if some things seem disjointed, that's why.
