You can transfer to any other server other than the ones that are going bye-bye in the upcoming merge:

Starting on Mar. 7, 2011 7:00 PST:
- Within the World Transfer Service, name of source worlds will be removed from the list of destination world.
*Other than the transfer to source worlds, World Transfer Service will be available.

Remember timed NM's used to be 30-60 minute repop and ??? repops used to be 3 minutes.

So there's still hope. But then again, I think I agree with the guy who said "Adjustment = good, countermeasure = bad", we'll see.

I thought the same, but then I realized I read it wrong.

World merge was scheduled for March 16th, but now it's been pushed back to the version update, implying it's... not the 16th ;( dunno how I read it wrong in the first place

The version update date hasn't been announced yet. My guess it'll be given tomorrow with the update 'teasers' posted to the new forum.

So I'm at Ulhuadshi, getting cockslapped by JPs at what must be... lunch time on a weekday right now in Japan. 4-5 parties here, Amun being camped, JPs refusing to disclose how many sandworms they've got left, and usually 5-10 people fighting for the ???

And we're getting fucking merged with a server that's bigger than us. Oh joy.

I'm glad I stayed civil at Ulhuadshi tonight. Saw some really bad shit go on (went from 10% to 14% to 12% to 15% to 11% to 14%... and so on for ~10 minutes). Normally I'd bitch in /say, but I was too annoyed to type... We pop ours and it turns into a clusterfuck because the WHM ran out of echo drops and somehow wound up with Whiro and a ton of Efts on him. I didn't die at least. My ego is too big to let that happen.

pull it to the cocatrice side, much more room to move around and keep the whm back. my mule is never silenced.

But yeah, Shiva just has really bad problems with people taking FOREVER. glavoid, ulhuadshi, anything that can heal, you name it. It'll take 20 minutes for most people to down the last 20%.

Hahahahaha. Thank God I quit this game when I did. Least I got 800 dollars for my troubles.

Sucks that all of this is happening because of how weak of a company SE has (always has been?) become. Shame, this game was untouchable towards the end of CoP/start of ToAU. :/
