Rift: Random Complaint Thread

Seriously wanted to rage in expert IT last night. At ragnoth and things are going great once I joined and took over. Attempts 2-5 got fucked due to the ghost bugging and we said fuck it. Attempt 3 he just decided to not spawn at all, and 4-5 he decided he would spawn but not protect anyone in his circle from getting there faces melted.

123/124 in IPP and i cannot find the last quest. I've done 2 escort quests and been all over the map. Apparently Guardians have more than 124 quests and can finish this easily. Help me!

Hmm, i hope that's not it since i'm 3/10 on rare spawns. Finding them is impossible unless there's a server restart.

soooo i decided to reset my phone because it was force closing the acore every single like hour......only to realize that my authenticator needs to be reset with a phone call from customer service....so much for my guild event i scheduled yesterday lol.

This also happened to me in expert IT last night. First 3 tries the ghost bugged, 4th time it worked correctly and we won.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I'm bored. Thought this game would keep me interested more than two months but apparently not. Fully T2 geared, no guild capable of raiding on my server either (only 2 competent guilds, but none with 20 people and lots of 30+ man guilds who have no clue how to play). Haven't even rushed the content either and I'm stuck, which sucks balls. Oh and the community is complete shit, nobody ever speaks nor cooperates.

The game is unfortunately taking a huge turn for the worst. I uninstalled it yesterday. I did have fun whilst it lasted so no hard feelings, just a shame the game didn't keep me occupied, or for a lot of the player base.

Before I uninstalled I logged on to say farewell to any guild members that was online, very unlikely I'll ever see them again. I log on and all 30+ still have not been on lol I should of screenshotted the guild list of all members offline for 20+ days and sanctum absolutely dead during the afternoon, normally I would lag so hard cause of the crafters and such.

Was very fun whilst it lasted, kudos to Trion. Rift is the only game in years apart from FFXI/WoW that has managed to keep me interested enough to get max level and do end game. The novalty has wore now though.

I am starting to feel the same way, I'm in a guild that runs raids on the weekends, but the only thing that keeps me logging on during the week is one friend. When she gets bored of it, I'll probably quit too.

definitely was interested enough to get to 50, twice. But the novelty wore off. Not mad about it, think I got my moneys worth. Uninstalled, waiting for the next MMO. Just didn't bring anything brand new to the table for me. Seeing the same rifts, Collossi just being facerolled by tons of people. Unable to see Guardians on my screen during the very few mass PvP moments. Also getting a taste of free movement combat TERA offers and soon Guild Wars 2 just makes it hard to come back to anything that involves standing still and pressing buttons a majority of the time.

My complaint of the day is all these stupid bugs and glitches in the game. The game runs smooth till end game, but once you do end game the bugs really show up. To make matters worse every patch or hotfix they seem to do, just seems to introduce more bugs/glitches.

Latest case in point doing T2 dungeons tonight,

1.) People were locked out from the dungeons.. Not everyone can zone in. You have to keep quing with every group over and over until one is not saved, or reform with different members.

2.) Last boss bugs...Quest accepted, Quest Accepted... Everyone in, everyone out...quest accepted. Can't do the last boss in the dungeon...

3.) Second boss (bird boss) now falls through the mountain when he dies and can not be looted, more wasted time...loot...plaques. More loot from the next dungeon.

My guild just gave up tonight, this game is quickly pissing off my guild.

1.2 Hotfix #7 - 5/25/11

GENERAL
* Raid warning text for certain boss abilities should appear immediately rather than fading in, so you have more time to react.
* Fixed an issue with some quest items that had a use time and would give quest credit at the start of the usage instead of the end of a successful use.
* Iron Pine Peaks: The missing Defiant quest for this zone is now available - 'Stay Frosty', my friends!
* Runic Descent: Additional safeguards have been added to prevent rare crashes of this instance.
* Item: Adorned Shadeshard: Stacks of the Spell Power bonus from this item now get properly removed for each successful cast.


LOOKING FOR GROUP
* While waiting for a dungeon group, switching roles to one you did not select to play when queueing will no longer drop your party from the LFG queue.
* The LFG ready check window should no longer remain on-screen even after you've left the LFG queue.


PVP/WARFRONTS
* Diminishing returns immunity timers now end 15 seconds after the initial application of movement-impairing effects, down from 24 seconds.
* Port Scion: Fixed an issue where players would sometimes not respawn properly at the Bridge when their faction controlled it.
* Port Scion: Idol of the Planes, Idol of the Gods, Planar Capacitor, and Planar Flux icons can now be seen on the map from anywhere in The Battle of Port Scion.
* Port Scion: Slightly adjusted the hit points of bosses and objectives.
* You can once again remove members from a pre-made party while in a Warfront - and it won't kick them out of the Warfront raid and leave them all on their own!


UI/SETTINGS
* Added a 'Unit Starting Price' field to the Auction tab of the Auction House. This lets you set a starting price per-item when listing a stack of items.
* NPC casting bars should better match the actual duration of the ability being cast, fixing some cases where they showed an incorrectly long casting time.
* Fixed a bug causing Artifacts with very long names to not show any Artifact Sets to add them to.

Anyone know where this missing quest is? Been all over IPP and still nothing. Also had 2 guild members go 124/124 before this update so i'm completely dumbfounded.
