Mage has always been the least dropped gear for us; however my guild has to have had at least ~12 staffs drop (combo of Genesis Pylons and Alsbeth staffs)

Well I did get the 2h off of RoS trash last night and Plutonus dropped plate dps legs. But yea, in the last 7 weeks, i've gotten about as much tank gear for my OS as I have gotten main spec loot.

Technically, mage should see the fewest drops and cleric should see the most. I say 'should' meaning that's how their drops were implemented, not in an 'in my opinion' kind of way.

Mage has only one set (dps), while cleric gets 3 sets (dps, heal, tank). Every item has an equal chance to drop, but there are 3x as many chain pieces as cloth so you should see chain 3x as much.

Another itemization complaint: wtf were they thinking when they made HK gear lacking basic stats. Several pieces across the board with 0 end and several cleric pieces with 0 int. "Let's make the bosses aoe for more damage! And while we're at it, give the players less health!" Their itemization team confuses me sometimes... :/

Oh, and lazy art department. The epics from HK have the same skins as T2 expert armor. The token gear looks fantastic, sure, but having that set is about 8 months away at the rate we're going~

The rank 8 pvp weapons are atrocious looking also. They look so dull with nothing interesting at all. Oh and the token HK leather set is the ugliest thing i've ever seen. Good thing i can keep my tier 1 raid set in wardrobe.

Its getting to the point with us where we bring cleric alts in to GSB/ROS and gear them out so we don't waste relics.

Yeah, our last 4 Alsbeth kills were all cleric wands. Which was awesome for me at first since I'm a cleric, but now that there is a better epic wand that drops in fucking IT of all places, its just depressing.

We need more non rogue legendary's. So far with two alsbeth kills and 3 green scales dead, we've gotten thoughtslayer and wand from alsbeth, and 2 daggers and bow from greenscale. WTB 2H Legendary, PST

Those Alsbeth relics are gross. Those Greenscale relics seem to be nice for your guild :O. DPS weapons for your warriors/rogues are always a plus!

We are holding off on daggers for the Warriors since the proc seems to be bugged and only working for Rogues from what they said. We need about 3 more daggers for all our rogues, but fuck it, i'm greedy, I want a new 2 hander lol. Our DPS is pretty sick though. Got the no fly zone achievement on our second Alsbeth kill. All we have left for the horse without even trying is under 5 crystals for plutonus and 10 min between warlord and herald.

It's a good thing that Murdantix drops a sword that's better than the GS dagger but, for fucks sake, give us some Alsbeth daggers. Ironically we have 7 bows off GS instead -_-.

I think every guild has not enough wars and too many clerics.

We have yet to get a staff of any kind off of anything. Melee are all happy though!

Our guild is the opposite. We have like 7 mages in the guild (1-2 always wind up sitting), and about 5 of each class. 2 of our warriors are main tanks that tank everything, me and another war can pretty much tank anything except herald, gs, and alsbeth, so we are set on that end.

I'd kill for a warrior tank and a few solid apps that don't turn out to be flakes. Seriously, what is the deal? The last 3 apps we've gotten mentioned how much our raid schedule fit them perfectly, only to have them miss 3/4 raids during their trial period. This shit never happened in XI. I hate wasting our members time.

Yea, we've had some bad apps as well. I recruited 2 from BG. One didn't get an invite, the other (nicholai) has gone awol, we think his computer exploded, and he hasn't replied to my PM's here. We had another guy who came over from our merger who afk'd all the time in t2's, then would cry when we called him out. He eventually quit and joined a horrible guild, got ostrocized in 50 chat, and quit complaining we take the game too seriously lol. On the flip side though, we've had some amazing apps that let us close recruitment and we consistently have 22-24 people on come raid times.

How long do raids normally take with a good group? Are they equal the the WoW raid lengths (roughly)?

With a good group and minimal # of wipes...

GSB: 45 minutes - 1.5 hour
RoS: 1.5 - 2 hours
GP: 45 minutes - 1 hour
DH: 45 minutes - 1 hour

So I'm bitter as hell this morning from my raid last night and I gotta vent/complain in the appropriate place.
IS WARRIOR TANKING DIFFICULT OR SOMETHING?! How the hell do you DPS a fight for 2 months and not know every detail of it. How do you not know how to fucking tank the adds in Herald and hold aggro on them as a Warrior. Hell this morning I made the 51 VK spec on Zam to look at how Warriors could possibly hold threat on the 4 adds w/o taunting Herald off my silly Rogue. Let me guess.... is this the rotation:

Ragestorm once they are out of coffins > Tempest > Spotters Orders on each mob while continuing to spam Ragestorm and w/e stupid builders you have? Hell if that's the rotation then it's 100% similar to how a Rogue does it. This guy I'm bitching about is supposed to be my guilds #2 tank for HK... yet he successfully let 2 - 3 people die each time adds spawned. In the end to freaking solve the problem of that, I had to switch to add tanking and moved the Warrior to Herald tanking since it's leagues easier (lol?) but low and behold... he loses aggro on Herald at the start of the fight even after DPS wait. How does a Rogue not lose aggro at the start yet a Warrior does? Freaking unbelievable considering how much threat just Spotters can bring.

Herald dies... move on the Plutonus. I always do the crystals that fight so I have this Warrior tank for us. He has DPS'ed every Plutonus for over 2 months yet he made it look like he's never seen the guy before. 5 or so wipes later I rage log out and call the raid for the first time ever and am now in a horrible mood over a video game Rwaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I can understand wiping 1 or 2 times because someone has never tanked something before and may not learn as quick.... but holy crap I couldn't believe this.
