Yeah, coming from FFXI as my only MMO experience, there are a lot of amazing things that just blow my mind when I'm playing. I don't need to wait 30 seconds to log off? I can auction as many things as I want? I can craft ALL my silk at once and go get a drink while it works?

I have a complaint/question. I just hit 19 and I'm on a pvp server trying to get to Gloamwood. Well, there are 2 level 50's just ganking people at will. With that being said, do the guards/npc's not assist at all? Also, I didn't realize it was pvp at first and this is lame...been happening for about 20 minutes straight.

Unless the guards would aggro them normally, I don't think patrols you see farting around will do shit. It's stupid, and I don't agree with Trion doing it that way, as without NPC support in places, you're at the mercy of generous like-level players showing up to take care of it if they're in the mood. Realistically, the presence of guards should diminish as you level, perhaps being non-existent once you're 40+, but if PvP is anything like PvE, being 3 or more levels below a target is like asking for death. Nevermind the fact 20s would have no chance against 50s.

PVP isn't exactly like PVE. PVP levels scale a bit, especially in brackets, to the level that is basically comes down to higher levels simply having the advantage through more HP, stronger abilities (through higher trained skills) and better stats through gear. Level correction handles the rest, so the lowbies still have a fighting chance.

Isn't the level correction only in warfronts?

NPC broadcasts it globally every time someone does a certain quest. Not sure if it's a mistake or what, but it drives me crazy. D:

5 days playing between level 28-36, and only 3 successful dungeon groups on a high population server makes me weep. Been playing during peak times and there is absolutely noone answering and it's blowing my mind. Dungeons are probably the best thing in this game, yet people still do mindless questing and are geared like complete shit the moment they try to do a single dungeon. Though I guess I shouldn't QQ too much, since when I go in warfronts people are so shitty at playing that I completely destroy them no matter how hard they try.

Your a tad behind the curve, level wise. Wouldn't be to worried about it, they increased Rift xp so do those if you don't want to quest.

75% through 49 and my monitor craps out. I bought this thing brand new two years ago and its completely dead. Probably won't be able to afford a new one for two months at minimum what with stuff I have to pay off IRL right now -_- Sigh. No rift for me for awhile.
