    I was trying to think why they changed the name of Peridot Doblyns to Heliodor Doblyns. I can only assume it's because Sphene and Heliodor are both VIT gems. Makes more sense than changing Sphene Doblyn to Malachite Doblyn as that's PIE. VIT symbolises defence and with a group of crystals on their heads you'd expect them to have good defence. Even if they are/were weak as shit. Increasing their HP was a long time coming and knowing what SE are like with their nerfs they probably aren't worth SPing on any more.

    Nerf to local leve SP I can live with IF I am now able to pick up more than one 30+ CRP leve a week. It will work out to more SP and the leves will be free mats to skill on. But changing the requirements to some leves to reduce their difficulty could mean some leves that given at rank 30 yesterday could be rank 35 tomorrow with the same recipe. That's fine if you're picking it up at rank 30, but if you're 29 you'll no longer see that leve until you hit 30. There's so much change to these leves it's not even worth discussing until the servers are back up.

    Awesome. I can now run all the way from Camp Dragonhead to Iron Lake with quickening on the whole way. Not that I'd ever do such a run, but it's constant quick unless there's a mining node nearby and it's usable in all zones along that route. Sucks for those without one of those V abilities lol. You can get it as early as rank 30 if anyone is considering ranking up a DoL for it.

    I like what I'm seeing. Keep 'em coming Yoshi P. and crew. When I get home from class I'll be exploring looking for quests to try. Also +1 to the repeat synth option on local levequests.

    I just looked at my goldsmithing leves. I have 2x 35, 2x 40, 1x 45, 1x 50 and that's just Ul'dah. Huge improvement but some of the newer ones only have 2 required synths. Guessing it's shit like synth 2 copper rings being changed to synth 2 electrum rings. The 45 isn't the amethyst ring leve that exists pre-patch either (I'm sure it still exists but I was given the 40 version this cycle), this 45 is electrum circlets with tier 3 gems.

    I imagine it's the same situation for all crafts.

    Crafting :

    Prepare menu disappeared after choosing a recipe (long as you have mats), goes straight to Main Hand button after selecting too.
    OffHand button is gone when not equipped
    UI is less cluttered after hitting Main

    Yeah just noticed this. Thought it looked weird at first. lol

    For Ul'dah I've found one right outside the gladiator guild "An Inconvenient Dodo", one in the miner's guild "Besmitten and Besmirched", and one in the alchemist guild "Sleepless in Eorzea". Couldn't find anything else. All rank 15 quests.

    They got rid of collisions for hitting characters/retainers in this patch. Didn't see it mentioned in the notes but they did say it was coming soon.
