I haven't touched miner (rank 0 for me) so idk if there is a requirement for it. I know it's for disciples of war and magic (rank 15), so maybe it depends on what class you currently are/current class rank.

The mobs HP bar dissapears for a short time after attacking it for me. Anyone else having this too?

And its looking like its just "Random NPC chatter > Accept quest > Go to spot > Farm mobs > Return for loots".

It "feels" like they have improved the game's draw distance, anybody else notice this?

But when can we use those keys for god damned camera control! I'm beginning to think they never plan to let us bind things to the arrows despite what was originally promised. Save for that, this patch seems p. awesome.

Exactly what I thought. Still not used to that IJKL thing. And I don't like it. It's just not intuitive and really bothers me...

I'm getting a smoother loading impression on PC/NPC models, not sure if placebo or what. Runs the same other than that.

There's no difference in how it runs, it's always run like shit. A lot of people who come back after not being on for a while tend to think its worse.. especially the hitchiness when running around town or porting somewhere you havent been. I've noticed this myself and think it has something to do with whether or not textures are preloaded into memory or w.e. After not playing or even rebooting, i'll have much more hitching than I did when I was actually playing frequently(aka a long time ago).

Wow, just logged in, and the rank 15 goldsmith leve I picked up last night is now rank 45 in my journal. I'm rank 10. Guess I'm dropping that one.

You can still do it. Happened to a guy in my LS, his rank 30 leather leve turned into a rank 50 but still gave 289 sp.
