I wonder if the mods there will be as elusive as GMs are in game. i.e. you will never see them, but occasionally threads will vanish without explanation.

They don't have time to post in NA forum, Too busy in the JP section giving them updates on the next 5 years of FFXI...

Seriously my LS leader is Chinese and the updates he gets are fucking stupid early... Like they knew about abyssea MONTHS before we even thought about a new version update. There is a major game store franchise in china like game stop in US (Ill find out the name when he gets on vent) and he shows us pictures of this giant board where everyone post sticky notes of questions to the dev's and every week its sent off to the dev's and about a week later a good amount of them are answered. wtf lol

What I will try to do is get him to get us a copy of the Q's and A's and translate them for us (He speaks English very well) One of the few things they are looking into is letting people pay RL money to un-ban accounts banned by the salvage dupe, Not confirmed yet but a strong possibility.

Another thing I don't like about the whole forum business is fro, what I read they're pretty much stopping the twitter account. That thing was nice, just hop on to twitter every couple days to see updates and be done with it. Now to get any sort of update details it seems we'll have to log into the forum through our SE account, and THEN search through the insanely sectioned-off update details one by one. Way to go, SE.
