I believe Rog wandered by - I'm predicting the Rogpocalypse in about a week.

I've read three threads and want to stab my eyes out with a spoon. I thought things couldn't get worse than the 14 beta forums with the non disclosure vigilantees.... I was wrong. I give it a fortnight before they're linking any single screenshot with evidence of windower use gibbering with enthusiasm for a pat on the head by SE and a cookie.

Is it just me or are all the really annoying ones using the hume F brownhaired with a jaw length bob haired avatar?

I'm not logging in - I aggro stupidity too strongly.

I have noticed that they are at least locking threads that contain high amounts of stupidity. That, at least, is promising.

Unless you're throwing around ethnic slurs, I doubt you're going to find yourself banned. Be as forceful as you want to be, at worst you're going to get your post nuked or thread deleted.

I think that it is only that the FFXI parts have slowed in comparison to the other parts. I don't think the forums as a whole are less busy than they used to be, probably more busy.

They're definitely less posted in than they used to be, but I'm not sure the actual rate of new information and strategies has slowed down at all.

I'd bet that if I go in calling someone a goddamn moron or a fuckwit I'd get hit with the ban hammer, and sadly that is the mildest response that most of those threads deserve.

Excessive profanity in a public place falls under the same category. Being what they are, everywhere in the forums qualify. However, it's also a crutch you don't need if you want to break someone's spirit.

If you came onto BG with the attitude of trying to rain hell on everyone and start flames, it's likely that you would be banned here too. Just try to flame the more prominent people on these forums like that and see if the mods tolerate it.

I think we need a new thread in Media for the LOL SE forums where we post whole quotes and not links since the mods seem to be pretty delete post spamy. I forsee many lawls to be had. That Twilight Knife not working on undead is a glitch had me laughing for hours.

I'm quite surprised that some of my posts haven't gotten nuked. While what I've said would be considered super passive here on BG, I'm kinda shocked that they're letting comments go like me saying that most of the players are stupid, have been stupid and always will be stupid.

I've also seen a fair amount of swearing that gets left alone, though I haven't seen any uses of the "bad cuss words" like fuck and cunt.

And yeah, there's a fair amount of stupid that gets left alone, but I'm surprised that any thread has been deleted just because it was stupid. Gives me at least some hope. (For the forum, not the players in general.)
