So he gets drunk, he rapes her, she gets pregnant, refuses to abort it, he kills her, and it's supposed to be 'honorable' according to segments of their culture?
These are the people I'm supposed to have cultural tolerance for? Never gonna happen.

Honestly this is the most disgusting part of that. They seriously had that shit until just2 years ago?In 2011, the Lebanese parliament approved a draft-law to cancel article 562 of the penal code that calls for limited punishments for honor killings.
This is where we post babies flushed down toilets and subsequently rescued, yeah?

Newborn baby rescued alive after being flushed down toilet in China
A newborn baby has been rescued after being flushed down a toilet in a Chinese apartment building, according to state media reports.
Firefighters in eastern China rescued the abandoned baby boy lodged in a sewage pipe directly beneath a toilet commode, in a case which has sparked anger on social media sites.
Residents in Jinhua, in the wealthy coastal province of Zhejiang, alerted firefighters on Saturday afternoon (local time) after hearing the two-day-old baby crying in the fourth-floor squat lavatory.
Attempts to pull him out failed, so rescuers sawed away a section of the pipe with the baby inside and took him to a local hospital.
Firefighters and doctors spent nearly an hour taking the pipe apart piece by piece with pliers and saws, before the newborn was freed with its placenta still attached.
From the time he was found until when he was taken out, the baby was stuck in the pipe for at least two hours.
The 2.3 kilogram boy suffered cuts to his face and limbs and is now in a stable condition.
Police are looking for his parents and the person who abandoned him is suspected of murder.
That shit breaks my heart man![]()

By Iris Carreras
CBS Sacramento
(CBS) STOCKTON, Calif. - A Burger King employee outsmarted two robbery suspects when he left the restaurant through the back door and hid their getaway car, reports CBS Sacramento.
Stockton police reportedly said they've never seen anything like this before.
The two suspects went inside the fast food restaurant, pulled their guns and asked for money.
While the two men were robbing the cashier, another employee sneaked out the back and noticed there was a car running. The employee reportedly got in the vehicle, drove it around the corner and hid it.
According to CBS Sacramento, a police officer said "I haven't heard of any employee actually leaving a business, getting inside the suspect vehicle and trying to hide it."
The station reports that both suspects, Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt, panicked when they didn't find their car outside. They fled to a nearby field and officers arrested them there.
CBS Sacramento added that even though the robbery ended the right way, it is always advised that people being robbed comply for their own safety.
Why should anyone give a fuck that their slave shop is getting robbed and try to stop them from "getting away" with their lil stack? lmao
Yeah, go ahead and play hero and piss off the sack of rocks that decided to rob BK; take a bullet and maybe you'll get a 50c raise.
As well, you aren't taking into account whether they like their co-workers or not.
I didn't give two shits about BoA when I worked there, but heck if I could have done something like that knowing someone pointed a gun at one of them I might have (though I'd probably be peeing in my pants instead!).
I did this more than once in my videogame retail-working years. Not the driving away in a getaway car thing (badass as that would have been), but tricking the robbers to minimize losses and/or enable the police to catch them.
I lied to one about how the surveillance system worked, which ended with a clear video of them being given to the police. As for another, I deliberately gave them fistfuls of worthless games (this is why alphabetizing is good, children), so they filled their bags with utter crap that didn't affect my store too negatively.
I've other stories, but those are the best. Despite how highly my employers praised me for being completely calm during said events, I naturally knew as well that retail was a dead end. Still, I'll always have stories to tell.
It's stockton. Place is a bigger shit hole for crime then oakland. I wouldn't be surprised if robbers getting jacked doesn't happen more often.
Does anyone know where the Diaz brothers were when this happened?

From Alaska to Florida: Americans take to streets against Monsanto and GMOs
Hundreds of thousands across the US joined the worldwide rally against biotech giant Monsanto and genetically engineered crops. It comes shortly after the Senate turned down a bill that would allow states to require the labeling of GM foods.
Organizers of the major rally that swept through dozens of nations around the globe on Saturday, urge a repeal of the so-called Monsanto Protection Act, and call for a boycott of Monsanto products.
Participants in the March Against Monsanto were also demanding the right to know what they’re paying for and what their children eat. The protesters called for labeling of GM foods, which they say could pose a danger to human health, and demand further scientific research of such products.
RT covers the protest which is getting a mainstream media blackout, with RT's Anastasia Churkina - who as at the heart of the protest march in New York City – one of dozens of American cities that are staging protests against Monsanto.
“According to our estimates there are over 2,000 here,” she said. “All these people have gathered here today to speak out against this giant biotech corporation that for years has been accused of manipulating and corrupting farmers throughout the world and monopolizing the agriculture industry.”
n Washington DC, a crowd of marchers gathered in front of the White House waving banners and posters.
Meanwhile, the US-based seed giant maintains that its seeds improve agriculture since it helps farmers to produce more from their land while saving resources such as water and energy. At the same time, Monsanto said on Saturday, they respect people’s rights to express their opinion on the matter, AP reported.
Initially a small movement, the March Against Monsanto campaign turned into a global event with millions of participants in over 50 countries thanks to the efforts of activists and social networking services.
Over 500 people marched through downtown Anchorage, Alaska, bearing signs with slogans like “I’m not a scientific experiment” and “Demand GMO Labels.”

Hundreds flooded the streets of Florida calling on the US government to stop lobbying for biotechnology giants.
Thousands protested near the Sacramento State Capitol in California. The event featured magnificent traditional Aztec dances.
Meanwhile several hundred activists gathered in Dallas chanting “No more lies! No more greed! We don't want your toxic seed!”
Hundreds of protesters took to the street in Los Angeles and marched towards the City Hall carrying signs with messages such as “Label GMOs, it’s our right to know” and “Real Food 4 Real People.” Rallies and colorful events were taking place all across the city until 5 pm.
Marches against the biotechnology giant Monsanto have taken place in 436 cities across 52 countries this week with an estimated total number of participants standing at over two million, the organizers of the global event said.
