I wouldn't mind him if he stuck with his roots and stopped taking himself so seriously.
By roots I mean Even Stevens, Holes, etc.

aksannyitits, that video is crazy
I was hoping he was at least in the right line.. Nope. Middle lane, hill crest, takes out a hyundai and 4 humans..
I am too old to have grown up in the kid-Shia, so idk his acting never bothered me. It's not like he was an oscar-contender, but he didn't rub me the way he seems to rub a lot of people.
He's such a forgettable actor. This is the equivalent of Pauly Shore singing his own swan-song. No1curr.
ehh, dunno about that. Pauly Shore is much-reviled, Shia Lebouef is so much more forgettable that it is difficult for him to inspire much more than disinterest
Frankie Muniz is probably laughing his ass off right now.
dafuq is frankie muniz up to these days anyway?
i don't mind shia. i've never had any particularly strong feelings about his acting either way. i'm sorry that fame has been so unkind to him. he's obviously got some unpleasant things going on in his life and i hope he gets through them okay, but honestly that's not really any more than i'd say about anyone.
It's self-inflicted. I wouldn't feel bad for the guy.
Sure, he was picked on a little for starring in the Transformers films, but that's not what started this—he suddenly decided that he was going to re-launch himself as an "artist," when he's fucking terrible, and a movie-maker, but he's doing the latter by blatantly stealing from others. As he's been called out on his shittiness and thievery, he's responded by telling everyone to go fuck themselves, a la a spoiled little child whose mommy is proud of them, therefore negating any true critique they receive.
We're one-upping you here in socal, drunk going 100mph in a Camaro, going the wrong way, hit two SUVs, killed 6. Drunk driver lived, of course.

Had the biggest crush on that girl back when that film came out and apparently still do
She is really pretty cool. You may be aware but she has done some stuff for That Guy With the Glasses, she's also written articles for Cracked.
Over the course of my life I've driven in all sorts of various states, and not once have I been so fucked up as to come remotely close to driving on the wrong side, especially on interstates/ramps. I have no idea how it is even possible for someone to pull that off.
i know all that kohan. it's just... we can't really know what's going on in his head, and people were a lot more vicious than you seem to remember. And not just over transformers. Over everything. His comics, his movies, everything he's done has been scrutinized and ridiculed. It seems to me like the plagiarism thing was more a symptom than a cause. If everything I did were getting bad reviews, maybe I'd do a test to see if maybe it were just my name/fame that was catching all that flak. I'm not saying that would excuse it. But the plagiarism thing (and its fallout) is the only thing he's done that's actually been contemptible. Can you honestly say that THAT'S when public contempt for him began?
it just bothers me to see someone so obviously tormented be pushed even further. it's not that dissimilar from bullying.
Maybe I'm the only one, but I like his acting, and I've enjoyed most of the movies he's played in. I don't follow their lives, so really couldn't care how he carries himself off-screen, I always get a good laugh from his movies and characters though.
That paper bag is more famous than the actor wearing it.

ISIS is as incompetent as ever, I see.BAGHDAD — A group of Sunni militants attending a suicide bombing training class at a camp north of Baghdad were killed on Monday when their commander unwittingly conducted a demonstration with a belt that was packed with explosives, army and police officials said.
The militants belonged to a group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, which is fighting the Shiite-dominated army of the Iraqi government, mostly in Anbar Province. But they are also linked to bomb attacks elsewhere and other fighting that has thrown Iraq deeper into sectarian violence.
Twenty-two ISIS members were killed, and 15 were wounded, in the explosion at the camp, which is in a farming area in the northeastern province of Samara, according to the police and army officials. Stores of other explosive devices and heavy weapons were also kept there, the officials said.
Eight militants were arrested when they tried to escape, the officials said.
The militant who was conducting the training was not identified by name, but he was described by an Iraqi Army officer as a prolific recruiter who was “able to kill the bad guys for once.”
ISIS militants drove into Falluja and the nearby city of Ramadi, both in Anbar Province, earlier this year with heavy weaponry, taking control of key intersections and offices of local authorities.
Local security forces and tribes have since re-established control in Ramadi.
Ya, I remember when he was announced for transformers and it was a constant "I AM SO SICK OF HIM ASKSDFKLSJFD"
And I was like "who the fuck is this guy?" And it turned out all the hate was coming from him being in Even Stevens.
He definitely had the whole child actor syndrome imo that couldn't handle all the criticism. He seemed like he was a fairly normal kid back in the day.
that or they were just hating on him for no reason, which isn't really any better.
