ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A woman claims that when she tasted a yogurt sample from Sunflower Market in northwest Albuquerque and immediately spit it out. According to the woman, the yogurt had "bodily fluid" in it.

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating whether the woman's claims can be substantiated.

Tuesday night detectives said a woman who was shopping at Sunflower Market on Corrales Road and Alameda tried a free yogurt sample. She told police she spit it out because it tasted like sperm."

Most of us dread opening any of our bills.
But one South Florida woman got the shock of a lifetime- when she opened her cell phone bill to find she owed a mind-blowing $201,000.
Worse still, Celina Aarons soon learned that it wasn't a mistake.

Celina has two brothers who were born deaf and cannot speak.
Shamir the younger one is in college and doesn't work, and Celina is especially close to him.
The easiest way for them to communicate is by texting.
Normally, that's not a problem. Aarons has a data plan and the bill usually comes to a total of about $175.

But then Shamir went to Canada for a two-week holiday.
Neither Celina nor her brother thought to change him to an international plan.
Between them the two brothers sent over 2,000 texts and also downloaded videos, sometimes racking up $2,000 in data charges.
After getting the bill Miss Aarons said: 'I asked three, four times. I was like "Are you serious?'
She told WSVN-Channel 7 News: 'I was freaking out. I was shaking, crying. 'I was like my life is over.'

Celina said that paying the monster bill was impossible.
She added: 'That's like paying for a nice house right now based on what houses are going for.'
The phone company should have told her the bill was soaring, Celina argues.
T Mobile said that Shamir was billed $10 per megabyte and that they had texted the rate to him.
Four additional texts were sent to his phone as the charges surged, they said.
The phone company have now reduced the bill to $2,500 and given Celina six months to pay it.

MANHATTAN CRIMINAL COURT — A woman seen in a shocking video being beaten at a Greenwich Village McDonald's by an employee sparked the fight by hurling racist and profane insults at two staffers before the violent altercation, a witness testified on Tuesday.
McDonald's cashier Michael Joseph, 18, said customer Denise Darbeau, 24, became enraged when a cashier named "Junior" took her $50 bill to the manager's office to confirm its authenticity before allowing her to pay for her meal.
"Bitch ass n--ga, checking my money like it's fake," Darbeau taunted the cashier, according to Joseph's testimony at Tuesday's brief hearing in Manhattan Criminal Court during which a judge decided whether McIntosh would be held on bail while prosecutors seek an indictment.

"She was calling him Mexican and [saying] 'f--k you,'" Joseph testified on the witness stand Tuesday.
At the hearing, Joseph recounted the incident first reported by DNAinfo at the West 3rd Street restaurant last week in which a McDonald's employee was caught on cellphone camera attacking a pair of unruly customers who jumped the counter.
Rayon McIntosh, 31, allegedly beat Darbeau and her friend, Rachel Edwards, 24, after a war of words that began when the women were picking up their order in the early hours of Oct. 13. He was charged with felony assault and criminal weapons possession, while the women were charged with misdemeanor trespass.
Joseph said he was working behind one of the store's cash registers when Darbeau ordered her chicken "extra crispy," and demanded to know if it was prepared that way before she got the order.
While the women were waiting for their food, Joseph's manager hopped over the counter to stop a drunk woman from trying to use the restroom, but Darbeau thought he was starting a fight with her, Joseph said.
"She got in her defense mode and was like, 'Oh, you want to fight?'" he testified.
The manager replied he did not want any trouble before Darbeau began to rip into McIntosh as he brought her food order to the counter where she and Edwards were standing.
"F--k you — I hope you get deported. Your mother's a b--ch," Darbeau allegedly told McIntosh, according to the witness. "So then he replies, 'No, your mother is a b--ch,' and she smacks him."
The slap can be seen in the video footage just before the attack escalates.
Joseph testified that McIntosh started walking away to the back of the kitchen and was taken by surprise when Darbeau leapt over the counter to chase him.
McIntosh then picked up a three-foot-long metal rod used to clean the griddle and, as the video shows, started striking the women until they fell to the ground, the witness said.
Prosecutors acknowledged Tuesday that the women triggered the fight by taunting the staff and then leaping over the counter.
"There's no question that Ms. Darbeau acted in a totally inappropriate manner," Assistant District Attorney Jamie Mendoza said. "Not only did she curse out the hardworking employees at the McDonald's working the graveyard shift, but then she did go over the counter into an area which is prohibited to the public."
However, McIntosh's response was "unreasonable," and the women should not have been attacked so brutally, prosecutors said. Darbeau suffered a fractured skull, according to prosecutors and her family.
"The defendant could have handled the situation in a manner which did not lead him to repeatedly strike Ms. Darbeau and Ms. Edwards," Mendoza added.
But McIntosh's attorney, Theodore Herlich, argued Tuesday that it was a case of self-defense, as his actions were clearly intended to defend himself against a pair of women out to attack him.
"It's very clear [the two women] were coming after my client, who had in effect retreated to the rear part [of the kitchen] and was not seeking a confrontation," Herlich said, adding that his client didn't know if the women were armed at the time.
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Gerald Lebovits ruled that there was probable cause to hold McIntosh in custody while prosecutors take more time to present his felony case to a grand jury, which they are generally required to do within five days of an arrest, in order to keep the suspect in custody.
Video of the incident, which rapidly spread online, was played in court, but the excerpt did not include the moment as the women jumped over the counter. Prosecutors blamed the missing footage on a glitch in the recording.
McIntosh and Edwards are due back in court in December, while Darbeau is expected next month.
Darbeau's father told DNAinfo Tuesday that while he believes his daughter made a mistake when she jumped the counter, she did not deserve to be beaten until she had skull fractures and required 20 staples. Darbeau is still recovering in the hospital, he said.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lindsay Lohan arrived late to her first day of community service at the county morgue Thursday and was turned away, another hiccup in the actress' effort to prove to a judge that she is complying with terms of her probation.

Lohan had been told to arrive at 8 a.m. for an orientation session but arrived 40 minutes late, spokesman Craig Harvey said. The actress was told to try again on Friday, but will have to arrive at 7 a.m., he said.

Steve Honig, Lohan's spokesman, said in a statement that the actress was late because she didn't know which entrance to report to and "and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival."

The "Mean Girls" star's tardy arrival at the morgue came a day after she was scolded by a judge for being terminated from a community service assignment at a women's shelter. The hearing ended with Lohan's probation being revoked and her being led from court in handcuffs.

She later posted $100,000 bail and was released.

She remains on probation for a pair of drunken driving arrests in 2007 and a misdemeanor theft case filed earlier this year after she was accused of taking a $2,500 necklace without permission. She pleaded no contest in that theft case.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lohan to complete 16 hours of work at the morgue before a Nov. 2 hearing. The judge will determine whether Lohan violated the terms of her probation by being terminated from the Downtown Women's Center after being late several times and not showing up for her service.

The actress had done community service in recent days with the American Red Cross, but Sautner said Lohan would not get credit for that work as part of her court case.

A probation officer noted in a report filed Wednesday that Lohan told her that the work at the shelter was "not fulfilling."

Harvey will be doing mostly janitorial work at the morgue, Harvey said. Her duties will include cleaning and stocking restrooms, mopping floors and washing sheets that the facility uses, he said.

Lohan will have to surrender her cellphone while working at the morgue and will have to bring her own lunch, Harvey said.

In a exclusive interview with LA Weekly, Pink Visual spokesperson Quentin Boyer reveals that the shelter will have the capacity for 1,500 people, and that gaining entrance will be a combination of merit (how useful are you?) and lottery (for "our fans and members").

Home raided after 'heroin for sale' fliers posted

PORTLAND, Ore. — A North Portland home was raided Tuesday after fliers throughout the neighborhood advertised drug sales at the address, police said.

Of the seven adults inside the home during the raid, six were arrested on various drug charges. A teenager in the home was placed in protective custody.

Early Tuesday morning police executed a search warrant at a home in the 3900 block of North Massachusetts Avenue, according to Lt. Robert King with the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers said they found nearly 20 grams of marijuana, more than 10 grams of heroin, a sawed-off shotgun, thousands of dollars in cash and the materials for a methamphetamine lab inside the home.

"The neighborhood response team began this investigation over a year ago because of numerous neighborhood complaints," King said. "At one point a neighbor gave officers an 8-inch by 10-inch flier found in the neighborhood that said 'Heroin for sale' and gave the address and the names of the dealers."

Neighbors were grateful that the investigation led to arrests.

"It was taxpayer money at work. It was great," said neighbor Doug Barrett. "It's what we've been longing for, so it was a great relief, and we told them so."

"They came out smiling; they were happy to see us," said Sgt. John Birkinbine of the positive response from the neighbors. "A lady brought a bucket full of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies to us to tell us thank you. We felt like firefighters for a few minutes. It was good."

Man claims prostitute turned into donkey overnight

A man in Zimbabwe claims a prostitute he visited turned into a donkey overnight and now he is 'seriously in love' with the animal.

Sunday Moyo, who has been charged with bestiality, told a court in Zvishavane on Monday that his donkey lover was in fact a hooker whose services he procured from a nightclub.
Police on routine patrol in the early hours of Sunday had stumbled upon the 28-year-old, from Mandava township, performing a sex act on the donkey inside his yard. The animal was lying on the ground with its neck tied to a tree.
Moyo admitted the bestiality offence, according to the New Zimbabwe news website, but proceeded to tell the magistrates his colourful tale: 'Your worship, I only came to know that I was being intimate with a donkey when I got arrested.
'I had hired a prostitute and paid $20 for the service at Down Town nightclub and I don’t know how she then became a donkey... but I am seriously in love.'
Moyo, who's been remanded in custody until October 27, has been ordered to undergo psychiatric tests.
