Read the damn article. It is a terrible idea but what they are trying to do is shut down websites that facilitate human trafficking and prostitution. Porn is not illegal and computer manufacturers can pay $20 per device to not install the software or consumers can prove they are legal porn watching age and pay the $20 to have the software removed.

They think it will help raise money to go towards the human trafficking task force.

Granted the whole thing is not a good way to do it and not a good idea but it is a far cry from making porn illegal or blocking all porn.

I did read the article I was being somewhat exaggerative. And yes I saw the side bit about human trafficking. But forcing someone to block porn on the internet and then charging them to remove it is all kinds of retarded. Perhaps a better way to say it is it's illegal without a permit for your device lol

I agree with you about it being a totally wrong way to go about fighting human trafficking and that it is all kinds of retarded. It just seemed based on your reaction you didn't read past the headline which happens so frequently it is hard to tell when someone is exaggerating or being sincere.
