PORTLAND - A paroled sex offender who stabbed and sexually assaulted a 10-year-old boy in the restroom of a Portland fast food restaurant will spend 33 years in prison.
On Wednesday a judge sentenced Adam Brown for the July attack. He had recently change his plea to guilty on ten counts, including attempted aggravated murder, sex abuse, strangulation and assault.
A family statement read by the prosecutor said, "You are a sick, evil, twisted, human being."
Brown, 50, will likely spend the rest of his life in prison, as he is in poor health now.
In the July 2012 attack, Brown grabbed the boy, who had gone in the restaurant to use the restroom as his older nephew waited outside for him.
Brown forced the boy in to the restroom and locked the door, then ordered him to take off his clothes and tried to sexually assault him. The boy screamed and started fighting back, according to said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.

During the struggle, Brown stabbed the boy several times, Simpson said. The boy's father heard screams and tried to open the restroom door, but it was locked from the inside. A manager brought a key, then Brown unlocked the door and pushed the boy out, Simpson said.

Couldn't that be done with any RFID period? Once you know who owns it, you can track it anywhere. If they have a problem with it being n children, then they need to tale this fight up with every one, credit card companies included.

Also, this is a forum for discussion. We comment more on beer causing an accident cause it has comedic value, the Taliban shooting a girl for trying to rise is par for course and really warrants no discussion, unless of course you just like the sound of you typing the same disgust every couple of days the Taliban does something silly like this. Well, seeing as how the bus requires students to show their IDs if they want to pay the student fair where I live....yeah, I carried mine around all the time before getting my drivers license.

I never went to my locker. Ever. Seriously carried all my books all the time. Of course, I also used a small hiking bag for my backpack. Made life so much easier instead of having people bumping into you while turning the combo a missing by a number or some shit.

Though, I guess I'm showing my age with the fact that kids having to carry IDs boggles my mind. Yeah, I was in school when Columbine happened, but none of our faculty showed any sign to the students that were even entertaining such things, let alone metal detectors or locking the doors during school hours.

According to Solenne San Jose, a Bouygues Telecom rep started out by telling her the total could not be revised and threatened to draw the money directly from her bank account. After "a series of frantic phone calls," the company agreed to let San Jose set up an installment plan.

Not surprisingly, she turned down the generous solution, opting instead to pay the 117 euros she owed and not a million more.

San Jose ultimately parted ways with the company, and, after some prodding from the media, Bouygues Telecom agreed to cover her final bill.

Ah, right. That makes sense. That hadn't occurred to me, since my schools have always had free school busses.

Yeah, that's what i did too. I just went to my locker once in the morning to get my stuff, then at the end of the day to throw it back in.

Had a locker, but really never used it unless I desperately needed to store textbooks. Fuck walking almost 3x the distance before each class just to get books.

Lockers in my school were assigned to each student, but were quite honestly mostly used for pranks ranging from petty to semi-harmful.
Some kids TP'd one of my teachers' houses during Halloween so he filled the students' lockers completely full of balled-up newspaper.

Now that I think about it, many of the teachers in my high school were pretty juvenile...
