Polish police in a lather over creepy ‘initiation’ photos showing teens licking whipped cream off priest’s knees
Polish authorities have launched a probe about a possible perv priest after photos surfaced showing teenage boys and girls licking whipped cream off his knees during a bizarre "initiation ceremony."
The priest's school, however, doesn't see what all the fuss is about.
The creepy snapshots were taken during an initiation ceremony for freshmen at St. Dominika Savio Silesian School in Lubin, southeast Poland.
The shots show a group of boys and girls on all fours - some of them in cat make-up - taking turns licking white foamy cream off Father Marcin Kozyra's knobby knees.
In one set, Kozyra is sitting in a battered armchair with a rod across his lap.
In another shot, he sits on a grass hill and appears to be whacking a female teen with a stick.
Laski Diffusion/ The priest, Father Marcin Kozyra, is the director of St. Dominika Savio Silesian School in Lubin, southeast Poland.
Polish police got whipped into a froth after the school posted the pics on its website.
"This is very disturbing," Marek Michalak, the Polish government's spokesman on child affairs, told Britain's The Telegraph.
Laski Diffusion/ The school said the initiation ritual was a long-standing tradition at the school, and no one had ever complained about it before.

Thread moving slow, so I thought I'd share an interesting article that showed up on my flipboard:
Harassers of Women in Cairo Now Face Wrath of Vigilantes
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/06/wo...n.html?hp&_r=0CAIRO — The young activists lingered on the streets around Tahrir Square, scrutinizing the crowds of holiday revelers. Suddenly, they charged, pushing people aside and chasing down a young man. As the captive thrashed to get away, the activists pounded his shoulders, flipped him around and spray-painted a message on his back: “I’m a harasser.”

Egypt’s streets have long been a perilous place for women, who are frequently heckled, grabbed, threatened and violated while the police look the other way. Now, during the country’s tumultuous transition from authoritarian rule, more and more groups are emerging to make protecting women — and shaming the do-nothing police — a cause.
“They’re now doing the undoable?” a police officer joked as he watched the vigilantes chase downthe young man. The officer quickly went back to sipping his tea.
The attacks on women did not subside after the uprising. If anything, they became more visible as even the military was implicated in the assaults, stripping female protesters, threatening others with violence and subjecting activists to so-called virginity tests. During holidays, when Cairenes take to the streets to stroll and socialize, the attacks multiply.
But during the recent Id al-Adha holiday, some of the men were surprised to find they could no longer harass with impunity, a change brought about not just out of concern for women’s rights, but out of a frustration that the post-revolutionary government still, like the one before, was doing too little to protect its citizens.
At least three citizens groups patrolled busy sections of central Cairo during the holiday. The groups’ members, both men and women, shared the conviction that the authorities would not act against harassment unless the problem was forced into the public debate. They differed in their tactics: some activists criticized others for being too quick to resort to violence against suspects and encouraging vigilantism. One group leader compared the activists to the Guardian Angels in the United States.
Much more to the story in the link, didn't want a huge post clogging up the thread.
Thoughts? I think it's great. The government shows absolutely no want to stop these attacks, so vigilantism seems the only real recourse until it does.
It is great but the government is still doing nothing. Watch this escalate to them killing someone and then the government going after them :/

http://news.yahoo.com/video/driver-a...023014024.htmlA woman who was caught on video driving along a sidewalk to avoid a stopped school bus has been ordered to wear an "idiot" sign at the intersection where it happened.
Shena Hardin, 32, of Cleveland pleaded guilty to not stopping for a school bus and reckless operation. A Cleveland Municipal Court judge ordered her driver's license suspended for 30 days and ordered her to pay $250 in court costs, according to WJW Fox 8.

As part of the sentence, Hardin must also must wear a sign that reads, "Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid the school bus" for an hour a day for two days next week at the intersection where the incident occurred, according to Fox 8.
Hardin was arrested on Sept. 11 after a veteran school bus driver, Uriah Herron, noticed Hardin pull her driving stunt several times and recorded one incident with his cellphone camera.
"We had a very conscientious driver for 30 years. He really cares about his children and he took the extra step that this doesn't happen again," Cleveland Metropolitan School District bus manager Eric Taylor told newsnet5.com.
The judge's unique sentence predictably has drawn hundreds of comments on social media. Many agree with the sentence, saying more judges should strive for nontraditional penalties. Others, however, argue that the punishment is too degrading and humiliating for a motor vehicle violation.
LOL
That judge is awesome!
I love this judge
Cruel and unusual? More like creative and unique!
Creative and unique? Hardly. Parents have been doing such things to their kids since signs were invented.
Justice? You betcha.
Yeah doesn't strike me as unique, immediately reminded me of the old dunce cap or even just sending a child into time out.
Pretty funny at least
I loved the video, watching her think she's cool as shit skipping the bus only to have a cop jump out of his hiding spot and pull her ass over. Just wish we could've seen her face when the cop pulled out.
I Went to a Female Masturbation Class
and by I, I mean the author...
When I entered the main room there were seven nude women lying on towels and cushions casually chatting. The décor was an interesting mix of shabby chic and dildo museum. There was cozy wall-to-wall carpeting and tons of huge pillows, but also fake penises everywhere you looked. The message was clear: Relax, make yourself at home... and then penetrate yourself.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports...,6840755.storyThe game between Ohio State and Marquette was canceled because of condensation on the court.
The game was to be played on the deck of the USS Yorktown, which resides in the Patriots Point complex in Charleston Harbor in Charleston, S.C. Both teams warmed up, but condensation developed on the court shortly before the scheduled tipoff. The condensation apparently was caused by a drop in temperatures early Friday evening.
Several workers attempted to wipe off the court using towels and mops. Marquette coach Buzz Williams, who was wearing combat boots, was among those on his hands and knees trying to keep the court dry. After several minutes the teams warmed up again, but returned to their locker rooms a short time later. Following another delay of 20 minutes, the game was canceled at 7:56 p.m ET.
No makeup date was scheduled because both teams play Sunday. Ohio State hosts Albany while Marquette hosts Colgate.
Who plays basketball on a boat?
Hardmode engage.
theyve been playing on a carrier for several years (1 or 2 random games)
I wonder if the carrier even sways noticeably. Those things are friggen big, and I would imagine ports are pretty calm water.
Growing up right down the road from Duke and UNC, this just seems like common knowledge to me. I was pretty amazed to see a story like that even make it into this thread.
