Don’t mess with man’s best friend — especially if you don’t want to end up shot and in jail.
That’s exactly what happened to a Miami man after he jumped the fence — naked, no less — of a Little Haiti home and began choking a Rottweiler. The dog’s yelps awakened the homeowner who came outside — armed, no less — and confronted the attacker.
The intruder, who was later identified as 20-year-old Jeffery Delice, turned his attention from the dog to the homeowner. Delice jumped on the homeowner and began choking and biting him, Miami Police said.
Fearing for his life, the homeowner fired his gun twice, hitting Delice once.
“The person was naked, on the front porch choking his dog,” said police spokeswoman Napier Velazquez. “That’s when the resident shot him in the foot.”
Despite being wounded, Delice did not give up the fight. The homeowner, who police did not identify, fired his weapon a third time, but this time it jammed.
Finally, the homeowner was able to pin Delice down while family members called police.
When officers arrived, Delice tried to bite them, too, police said.
Delice was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was treated.
Expected to make a full recovery, Delice now faces several charges, ranging from assault, resisting arrest with violence, to lewd and lascivious behavior and animal cruelty.
He’s no stranger to the Miami-Dade court system.
In November 2011, he was charged with marijuana possession, and in April 2012, he was charged with armed robbery and assault. He’s never been convicted of any crime.
Although no one answered the door at the pink home on Northwest 56th Street Wednesday afternoon, a large black-and-brown dog in the backyard did come out of his dog house Wednesday and made himself comfortable in the sun.
Meth is a hellva drug.

China orders children to visit their elderly parents
China has passed a law requiring adult children to visit their elderly parents regularly or risk being sued.
The law does not specify how frequently such visits should occur, but warns that neglect could risk court action.
Reports suggest a growing number of elderly Chinese have been abandoned or neglected by their offspring.
Chinese state media reported earlier this month that a woman in her nineties had been forced by her son to live in a pigsty for two years.
Newspapers are full of such stories, or of tales of children trying to seize their parents' assets, or of old people dying unnoticed in their homes.
The rapid pace of development in China has damaged the traditional extended family in China.
An eighth of the population of China is over the age of 60, and more than half of them live alone.
Their children often leave home to work in the major industrial centres.
The dislocation of families has been exacerbated by China's one-child policy and a dramatic advance in life expectancy.
China has nearly 167 million people aged over 60, and one million above 80.
There are fewer working offspring to support more elderly relatives.
There are few affordable alternatives, such as retirement or care homes, for the elderly or others unable to live on their own.
Interesting situation.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Ohio, the Florida of the midwest.
A Cleveland stripper is in critical condition after attempting a tricky move during a lap dance that instead caused her to tumble off a balcony, landing 15 feet below, police say.
Lauren Block, 22, was entertaining a customer on the second floor of Christie's Cabaret at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday when she attempted a "jump-dance" move that misfired, the man getting the lap dance told police.
"He stated that she grabbed the rail, as he was facing away from the balcony, and she tried to complete some sort of jump-dance move, and accidentally went head first over the rail," a Cleveland Police Department incident report said.
Block suffered "massive head trauma" and was lying on the floor of the club when police and paramedics arrived, according to the report.
She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she remained in critical condition.
Cleveland Police said they are no longer investigating the incident, which they view as an accident.
Christie's Cabaret, a chain of "Gentlemen's clubs," has not responded to requests for comment.
Strippers are generally both drunk and on several drugs at once. Not surprising.
haha, stupid strippers
always on several drugs at once
Idk, feel bad for her. She was trying to do something that other strippers probably don't do to earn a little extra cash; slip, trip, and fell on her head. Always sad when an entrepreneur fails like that...

Fujimoto is divorced, and says "I have no family, no friends, no girl friend. I am alone in life."
But he does have three daughters, whom he hasn't seen for five years, "not even on Facebook or the Internet, nothing. And that saddens me deeply," he said as he wiped away a tear.
So he's bought a life insurance policy, and "I pray every day that, if something happens to me, my girls might collect the insurance money and be able to live comfortably."
That reminded me of this:

Visit your parents. That's an order.
So says China, whose national legislature on Friday amended its law on the elderly to require that adult children visit their aged parents "often" — or risk being sued by them.
The amendment does not specify how frequently such visits should occur.
State media say the new clause will allow elderly parents who feel neglected by their children to take them to court. The move comes as reports abound of elderly parents being abandoned or ignored by their children.
A rapidly developing China is facing increasing difficulty in caring for its aging population. Three decades of market reforms have accelerated the breakup of the traditional extended family in China, and there are few affordable alternatives, such as retirement or care homes, for the elderly or others unable to live on their own.
Earlier this month, state media reported that a grandmother in her 90s in the prosperous eastern province of Jiangsu had been forced by her son to live in a pig pen for two years. News outlets frequently carry stories about other parents being abused or neglected, or of children seeking control of their elderly parents' assets without their knowledge.
The expansion of China's elderly population is being fueled both by an increase in life expectancy — from 41 to 73 over five decades — and by family planning policies that limit most families to a single child. Rapid aging poses serious threats to the country's social and economic stability, as the burden of supporting the growing number of elderly passes to a proportionately shrinking working population and the social safety net remains weak.
Wtf with asians not giving a crap about elderly family? As a hispanic, I foam at the mouth when I visit family, knowing of the fun and foods I'm about to enjoy.
Family get togethers are a time of alcohol, loads of food and lots of dancing and gossip. I pitty all other ethnicities.
At least with my dad's side of the family, gatherings typically involve copious amounts of alcohol, great bbq or rotisserie, shooting pool, and my dad and sister in law calling everyone Fucking Jews. And no I'm not joking on that last part. That uno game will live in infamy.
Nope, we cover the range from atheist to agnostic to christians who don't go to church lol. It all started over a game of drunken uno when my dad played a draw 4 wild on my sister in law and she called him a jew. I played a draw 4 wild a few turns later on my dad and he called me a jew. Now we call each other jews whenever we are playing any game. My dad gets amusing once he has a few glasses of wine in him.

A 10-year-old girl in the US has died after being struck by a stray bullet fired in the air during New Year's celebrations.
Aaliyah Boyer was watching midnight fireworks outside a home in Elkton, Maryland, south of Philadelphia, when she was struck in the head by a falling bullet.
Adults initially believed Aaliyah had passed out and hit her head, but the bullet wound was discovered when she arrived at hospital.
She was taken off life support on Thursday morning and her organs have been donated to other children.
Police are now conducting interviews over an 8km radius in the hopes of finding the person responsible.
"They need to pay for what they did, for all these people that they hurt," Aaliyah's mother Crystal Blackburn said.
"She was just having fun, watching fireworks outside with her family, celebrating the New Year."
While her family were at hospital with her, a burglar broke into their Pennsylvania home and stole their Christmas presents.
They also believe strangers are trying to gather money for a fake fund for the girl over Facebook.
Jeez, that's all sorts of fucked up. :/
