R.I.P., I know you lookin down at us in the 4th D.
the picture you linked is actually a picture of a regular bacteria the guy put in the article for comparison![]()
You must have to jump through so many mental loopholes to believe what you believe, its astounding.
Did you seriously just post without knowing what the fuck? Thats not my site at all. I linked it because thats where I seen the story first posted and where I copied the article from. Jesus christ, bitch about the OP more.
I know you are, but what am I
my beliefs are firmly planted in the basement of the alamo
Money Power Respect. Aliens follow closely behind. Then some sort of hair transpant.
My gut says no.
In the main articles have they said at all when they can make a better judgment on this to make it solid? Seems like the quoted text is saying that at the moment there's a significant amount of scrutiny. I doubt many scientifically minded people are against the idea of life through out the universe. For something to travel extremely far (speculatively) and be discovered in of itself is just such a huge thing. Just the fact that if this is actually "alien life" then it probably points to life in the universe maybe being even more common then we thought.
Also trying to say something like this disproves creation from a higher power is a pointless argument. You can't disprove the existence of "God" but it's only a really a problem if they're saying, "God created life thus there's no reason to look further into it." Science has yet to come even close to replicating spontaneous life and it's something that the microbiology community is studying like crazy. Again if this is indeed extraterrestrial life if they can glean any biological information hopefully they'll be able to find commonalities between this to draw better conclusions in regard to the origin of life. If I remember correctly this is also why the scientific community was so excited about finding sulfur based life forms in underwater vents.
My feelings.... If I were asked if I believed alien life was present in meteorites in some form I would have said yes fairly easily. If I had to answer the same question and say if I thought that/those meteorite(s) would be found I would be unsure. So based on that it's either a really lucky discovery based on the number of potential meteorites to search through or that maybe it's more common than we thought (though still not very common otherwise we would have found more of this already and it apparently took him 10 years of searching to find them)
I ain't intrested in space bacteria, Wheres the hot alien chicks ?
Spoiler: show
Uggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh guys, its Fox News, you need to know better than this.
This pretty much isn't going to be true. It was "published" in the "Journal of Cosmology" which doesn't even have a print version, and is a free publication that requires its authors to pay nearly $200 to publish in it.
If this had any real credible backing behind it, it would be in Science or Nature. Not some bullshit internet only pay to publish journal.
I haven't read the actual article yet, but at least take this sort of thing with a bit of a grain of salt.
