Flash player not working in FF

I've tried everything I can reasonably think of but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. Youtube videos finally load but I honestly can't get any of my usual porn sites to work and it's a bit annoying. I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash and videos work in IE and chrome but I don't really like either of those browsers and I can't figure it out. When I go into the addons part of FF it says that flash is up to date and everything so I really don't have any clue what to do, also google doesn't seem to have any novel solutions to this problem.

edit: also, afaik FF updated recently (one of those auto updates) and when it did all of my youtube videos would just say "An error has occurred" and not load, but after reinstalling flash youtubes works now but nothing else really.

When you right click where Flash normally would be, is there the normal options you'd get for flash?

yeah, i actually got it all working again this morning, turns out updating java fixed everything, though i don't think that java and flash are in any way reliant on each other (at least i never thought they were up until now) updating java alongside the flash update fixed it all for whatever reason.
