Thinking about trying this game out, and with the CE download looks like I'll get:

-Turtle Mount
-Pet that I don't care about
-Bigger inventory

What size is the standard backpack? Do the 24 slots with CE really come in handy? Also, is there anything different than the mount other than aesthetics?

Of course I thought it was worth it but then again I played throughout beta. The inventory comes in handy the first tier of levels, then drops off once you can start getting decent size bags on the cheap (on my server). Also, the mount is worth it because you get it right out of the tutorial zone at level 6? and don't have to pay 2 plat for one.

normal backpack is 20 slots, mount is handy in the fact there aren't any level restrictions on all mounts of that speed, so you get it as soon as you come out of the starting area. Saves you the trouble of having to save up to buy a mount, which most people have the money for by level 20. So basically you get a mount 12-14 levels earlier than anybody else who didn't buy CE.
