Felt rushed(like the rest of the season), but a satisfying conclusion. Especially satisfying watching Korra go in on Kuvira inside the Gundam.

    Also: KORRASAMI FUCK YES

I enjoyed the episode, but the ending didn't feel like a series finale to me.

Felt like it was left open for something later, or a comic tbh, but yeah. I doubt we'll see anymore Mike and Bryan stuff on Nick sadly ;(

The Korrasami ending felt very fanfic-y to me and I could have done without it but other than that I thought it was a great episode with lots of great action.

I would have really loved to get another series with a new avatar.

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH can we get another season? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Korrasami didn't really seem like a thing...kinda...dunno maybe if they kissed or at least had them leaning in before ending then I could have said surreee it's a thing.

    Just finished watching the finale

    Spoiler: show
While the season did feel rushed, the Republic City war was pretty awesome. Didn't expect to see Asami's father sacrificing himself to penetrate the platinum armor on the giant mech.

Dat Korra/Asami at the end though...

One thing I was really disappointed with though...

    Spoiler: show
No Koh. I was hoping he'd play a role in the story after Korra opened the spirit portals at the end of S2 since he seemed pretty hellbent on getting the avatar.

Really? It was pretty obvious. I mean, I don't mind, it was still good, but come on. >_>

The ending.. eh, Idk. It felt a bit forced but it was nice. (Person who described it like them inserting some fan-fic nailed it imo.) I can only imagine the backlash if it had been 2 guys instead, but since it's 2 chicks it's obviously OK! <rolleyes>

    Hey, I'l take it!

It sure didn't feel like a series finale to me either. They did at least tie up some loose ends, but it didn't feel...idk...epic enough? But I'm okay with it, because it's not the end of Korra's story, nor was it meant to be. She'll have many more adventures, even if they aren't animated for our viewing pleasure. Comics and books maybe? A movie would be nice, too. Whichever way it goes, I was generally happy with the ending we got.

    Spoiler: show

Varrik and Juli together is adorbs ('Will you do the thing with me for the rest of our lives?!"), it's nice they gave Juli some happiness finally.
Everyone did their part in the battle, some more than others... I feel like Asami's father didn't particularly HAVE to die the way the scene was written (very awkwardly, seemed like the cutting was 99% done by that time), but it helped redeem him.

I ALMOST expected Mako to die in a blaze of awesome. He was obviously channeling the spirit of Zuko there with the lightning redirection And it would have been something if that blow had finished him off, I didn't think someone could really reliably live through that. But I figured nah, they probably won't actually kill him off, that would be too sad.

Korra x Asami is awesome. I guess after all that guy trouble it makes sense...

But yeah, rushed, but a nice end to the series. Glad they had the balls to end it like they did instead of the usual guy gets girl happy ending

What a fantastic end to this series. Definitely feels like they maybe left it open for more in the future, but after how Nick screwed them over so much, I doubt they would stay with them.

    Spoiler: show
Varrick and Zhu Li (had no idea this is how her name was spelled, just saw it on wikipedia like this o.O) ending up together was totally adorable.

Was wondering during that wedding if Korra and Mako were going to work things out and end up together but was kind of feeling bad for Asami and then we get a completely out of left field ending with Korra and Asami ending up together. I actually liked this much better, not just for a couple like this not usually happening, but there was at least one major hint at this in the past: Korra only writing Asami the whole time when she was recovering. Sure, it could have been built up more, but oh well. After seeing all of the relationship drama in earlier seasons and Mako kind of screwing over Korra and Asami, it's nice that Mako didn't just end up with one of them in some cliche ending.

Not sure if I could say this was better than The Last Airbender or not, but both were really good overall. Highly recommend both to anyone that hasn't seen them.

Wow did that really just happen?

    Spoiler: show
I mean it wasn't until the end that I realised that Korrasama was actually a thing but it was really obvious when it happened. The action was good, loved the animation (though too much 3D I think, but it wasn't horrible) and had some funny/cute parts. While it was rushed it wasn't boring to watch and I definitely feel happy with what went down. Just wish they had an extra episode so they wouldn't have to gloss over the epilogue.

    Dat ending tho

Bolin was the damned MvP of that episode. Kinda funny how he can pull off so much stuff yet still can't metalbend.

I don't see why anyone was remotely surprised by the ending, they'd more or less been setting it up since Book 3, and really started to get obvious with it in Book 4.

I mean, it could have two other ways (Makorra, completely platonic), but Korrasami was visibly in the works.

I counted a couple different ways he coulda wrapped up the whole affair by himself.

There's always the upcoming comics, so there's still a chance. Toph might even give Bolin the time of day and take him on as a pupil.

She specifically mentioned her old training academy, where--as she put it--even 'blockheads like Bolin' could learn to master metal.

My real question is if lavabending is strictly genetic, or that can be learned too.

I mean, could a Toph-like prodigy or just particularly inspired bender understand the properties of molten rock and learn to manipulate it, or are they just born with it?

Seemed like a season finale to me, didnt really tidy up as many stories as I would have hope. Villain and plot for book 4 kinda generic as well.

They could have thrown in some bolin/opal stuff, never got to see fire kingdom or Iroh. Could have had a scene with Kuvira and Batar post conflict. And my biggest hope was some form of her talking with Aang in avatar state at least once for fanservice.

I suppose that would be asking for a bit much considering the financial probs and nick being dicks.

Kuvira Korra and Asami threesome hentais inc.

Still not sure why Kuvira thought bending a liquid at Korra was a good idea.

why would liquid be any different than solid, korra is the avatar she can bend anything.
