I just realized that I think we've already seen adult Aang and weren't aware of it.

I was rewatching episode one and in the typical "Earth, Fire, Air, Water" the people bending are: Kiyoshi, Roku, ???, and Korra. All avatars assuming Abe Lincoln beard is Aang.

Also Mai was terrible. You gotta deal with it!

Second, it seems Korra is the opposite of Aang in terms of skill. She seems to be stronger as far as bending the elements, but has little skill in the spiritual side; Aang had more of a knack of slipping in and out the spirit world without any real training in it. Aang had to learn the elements in a rush so it's hard to judge his true skill after fight Ozai.

Mindless rambling etc. I just like to speculate~

I really wish they would hurry up and release a box set of the first series. I'd love to get the DVDs but I don't really want to spend $70+ on three box sets.

Jet is dead and was confirmed dead long ago. If it were Jet he'd be in his 80's 90's by then.

I think Jet was my most hated character in Avatar. Srsly that guy was a huge drag, I literally groaned when he was re-introduced.

The Cajun Asians were kind of dumb too, now that I think about it. I understand the need to include diversity but... D:

The creators have said it some where although I can't remember off the top of my head. I think maybe in the commentary for that particular episode. Also in case you couldn't tell by grandmama Katara. This story takes place many years after the original series (70 to be exact). So it's unlikely anyone we've seen before.

I'm currently a fan of the Amon=Bumi theory until we learn more about Amon or actually get to see Bumi in the show. Lots of theory crafting could go on around the idea though. What with Bumi being Aang's only nonbending son.

They've mentioned multiple times, along with the writer of the comic.. that Jet's dead. Gone. Disappearo. Finished. Haha.

Take a look at the bit where Amon's giving the speech. His skin's MUCH lighter than Bumi's is based on what we've seen of Bumi, so I don't think Amon's Bumi.

After Aang 'died' or whatever, he grew black hair that had to be shaved. Assumedly he could also grow a beard that color

Why the fuck isn't "assumedly" an actual word? It should be.
