no worries I don't think anyone can write it anyways. It's only two pages which sounds easy but it's supposed to encompass all the reading we've done in class up until this point (I'd say about 200 pages). Can't be a summary but a "reflection" but has to prove that we read everything. I'd honestly rather it could be more than two so I have time to devote a paragraph to each, but trying to cramp things in without sounding like it's cramped is difficult.

fyi this is a multicultural class so most of the readings are about disney being wrong and sterotypes being wrong but you should embrace your culture as long as that's not a stereotype because that's wrong, yadda yadda yadda.

I tutor two Chinese ESL high school students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. One is awesome, the other is a lazy ass fucker who I really don't like tutoring but it's np because I tutor them both at the same time so w/e. It takes me about 40-50 minutes to get to them depending on traffic. I'm only still with them because they begged me to keep helping them even though I had moved farther away.

Anyways, the bad one has been skipping sessions for over a month now, so I've only been having to help the cool one. The cool one though didn't need a session today so yesterday I texted the other one to see if she'd be actually coming. And she said she needed a session. I texted her that she HAD to be there at 2:15 sharp (we do it at her school in one of the teacher's classrooms) because I have another session at 4:30 with a different student. The 4:30 student is about a 40 minute drive from the ESL girls.

So, I almost get to the school and get a text from her, "can we meet instead at 3:30 at the library?". I said I can't because I have another student at 4:30. She replies, "I have community service today, how about tonight?"

Fuck that shit, told her she could come next week if she wanted. Drove all that way for nothing....
