    Or it could be part of the new merits that they said they were going to introduce and have adjustments for. BLM learns Meteor at 99 (via scroll or merits) and it will be the level 1 version, and each additional merit could increase it's damage and animation, thus why there are different animations. Or it simply could be a spell used by the Crystal Dragon.

    The amount of experience and Allied Notes earned from successful Campaign operations has been increased.
    They need to add more lvl 90 ~ 95 items to the Allied Notes pool... what a sad dev update, they could have snuck this in the patch notes instead of teasing me with a CAMPAIGN ADJUSTMENT title.. crock of shit

    The new Meteor spell going from 1-6 could be like the comet spell and the -Ja spells.
    Each successive use enhances it for a short period of time. However the MP cost is probably so high and the recast timer itself... So it would have to be casted by other party members to keep it getting "stronger" with each cast.

    I thought Meteor was AOE though... I wanted to meteor burn stuff similar to cleave burns. I also wanted to bring back the manaburns in KCNMs lol.

    The DATS looks like not in any order.

    -self target or single target JA spell for BRD.
    -Weak looking Meteor animations
    -Raise 4
    -Re-raise 4
    -Charm-na or Amnesia-na

    I'm hoping Raise 4 takes away weakness but that would be broken as hell right? Would make PLD popularity rise again at least.

    Hoping they have an abyssite of discernment type for Voidwalk when you clear the fourth tier that tells you a hint to the "jackpot weakness" for the mob that maxes out all alignments that was announced in the next update.

    I think the one with feathers coming down is a WHM nuke of some kind. It has the nuke sound to it. None of them look or sound amazingly Dancer related, so I'm a little bit "eh" about the whole thing!

    Just to confirm, if they add a new type of Samba they're actually adding two effects for it, right? An animation to put the Samba on, and then a second animation that activates when you strike a Daze'd target?

    didn't they mention something coming called Arise? >_> still waiting on the charm and amnesia removal crap for WHMs idk why but whenever I get charmed on any jobs it's about 3x the duration of anyone else and it sucks D; especially in dynamis when doing the Orc NMs and we miss stun on Fanatic lol.

    Walk of Echoes Skill Increase Test Implementation

    From the Test Server update performed on 10/28/2011, it will be possible to skill up in Walk of Echoes battles.

    This was implemented in order to test skill increases in various other battle content. Please understand that this is not a guarantee that Walk of Echoes will receive this change in the future.

    I'm like this on THF. I was charmed for like ~3+ Minutes at one point..

    Thats quite neat...

    I was referring to the normal game update that was on Tuesday. Although it was a mini-update, they have tried to sneak items into mini-updates in the past so my OCD wanted to make sure they didn't do it again.

    And has anyone on the test server checked out the Daily Rewards yet?

    I understand your feelings about the differences between FINAL FANTASY XI and FINAL FANTASY XIV. Please understand that these games are very different entities and just as it was stated before, the operational policies as well as the size of the development team are very different as well.

    Just to clarify one misconception I have been noticing for a while now...

    "PS2 limitations" is not a factor for adding new areas to the game and we will in fact be adding new areas in the future, so please do not worry about this.
