    I'd look forward to greater use for elemental spirits that don't take away from the role of other avatars. But since they're not interested in tweaking behavior I can only assume its something like auras and laterally useful things like absorb elemental type or something. As long as meleeinh isn't a focus

    They already said they were going to add category 3 job merits at 99

    I think they'll intentionally leave that out so some jobs are required to gimp their cat2 setups to cover Voidwatch triggers.

    didnt se mention something about adjusting some VW triggers? Or is that just for certain jobs like blu and smn?

    They added another KI for determining the magic hint type (Elemental, Ninjutsu, Blue, etc), and nerfed SCH's purpose in it by making all helix subbable.

    There'll also be a white !! proc that maxes all lights, and my assumption is there'll be no hint associated with it, and will just a random jackpot for that fight, assuming you haven't already capped all lights prior to accidentally triggering it. ;/

    I think it would be interesting to be able to add augments to Ebisu and Lu Shang’s Fishing Rod.

    We would probably be able to do something along the lines that if the rod breaks the effect will be lost. This is something we’d like to look into further.

    Nah, Tier 3 is going to be adjusting 2-Hours. We aren't going to get any new job abilities outside of that to merit.

    Maybe SE will add a super fish to Beau that can break Ebisu's, then require synergy to repair them.

    Edit: Looking at the JP twitter stream, looks like they posted a preview of one of the new Walk of Echo's zones

    Here's to hoping they'll announce the payment system adjustments soon since we were due for something regarding that this month. Hopefully it was the adding custom Crysta amount tweak.

    I also hope them now supplying FFXIUCAE themselves mean we'll eventually just be able to download the entire FFXI client from them instead of still mucking with discs/Steam/ISOs.
