God forbid the majority of the HNM don't even drop anything worthwhile nowadays, why make it more of a pain in the ass to get around to popping them?

So does that mean the +3 AF3s will enhance merit point related abilities and not use merit points to upgrade?As I’m sure most of you are curious about the various upgrade possibilities for relic equipment, I bring you a tidbit of additional information to whet your appetite!
Currently the below is the direction the development team is heading in for relic equipment upgrades:
Stage 1: Enhancement of base stats creating a more powerful version of the original relic piece
Stage 2: Enhancements with unique properties that are different from that of other existing equipment (Example: enhancing merit point-related stats, etc.)So much for more exping!

This, exactly. The markets all crashed for anything that used to drop as synth materials, and the gear is outdated, and outside of Tiamat and maybe Vrtra, I really can't see there being much desire from the player base to go fight these nms as a "have to go fight" type of thing to require a change in their popping.
Given that I spent 6 days in her room waiting for Medusa to pop, (after going there on two separate occasions and having her not be up), I welcome the change. I don't even care if it would have taken me 6 days to try to farm up a Medusa pop, at least then I would have been able to tell my friends a time where we were definitely going to fight her.

Did you take note of the beastmen army level in besieged? I think that affected their repop..
I don't mind lower repop times and all, considering there's enough to go around, provided their loot doesn't change
Listen I fucking made alliances to kill those things in my LS and it went fucking phenomenal because I was awesome. Except the time we ran out to Gurfurlur only to see he wasn't there. (Though in my opinion, that is the fault of the person who logged out at his spawn and apparently logged on, moved himself off of the stand into a corner and died.)
I know farming keys for Medusa (specifically bone) took a fucktarded amount of time, so if I went there and Medusa wasn't up I'd be pissed as shit. At least she has the easiest run.
What I'm saying is that the ToAU Beastmen kings are p. fun fights, but I always delegated myself to holding adds or something cuz I was neurotic and felt others were incapable.
