    It's so when they actually release any information, they just edit the post and you don't get a message anywhere saying something new has been displayed, it's genius!

    We would hate for new information to show up on the Dev Tracker. I mean, that would be informative.

    Eh, they just put up the devtags of upcoming content. It's been like this on the XIV side from the beginning.

    Also, the butthurt around here for the most mundane reasons is approaching 9000.

    God forbid the majority of the HNM don't even drop anything worthwhile nowadays, why make it more of a pain in the ass to get around to popping them?

    As I’m sure most of you are curious about the various upgrade possibilities for relic equipment, I bring you a tidbit of additional information to whet your appetite!

    Currently the below is the direction the development team is heading in for relic equipment upgrades:

    Stage 1: Enhancement of base stats creating a more powerful version of the original relic piece
    Stage 2: Enhancements with unique properties that are different from that of other existing equipment (Example: enhancing merit point-related stats, etc.)
    So does that mean the +3 AF3s will enhance merit point related abilities and not use merit points to upgrade? So much for more exping!

    We do not have any concrete plans for artifact armor upgrades. If we were to implement them it would be around the time when we adjust Limbus content. However, we feel that Homam and Nashira adjustments take a higher priority, so we can’t make any promises.

    This, exactly. The markets all crashed for anything that used to drop as synth materials, and the gear is outdated, and outside of Tiamat and maybe Vrtra, I really can't see there being much desire from the player base to go fight these nms as a "have to go fight" type of thing to require a change in their popping.

    Given that I spent 6 days in her room waiting for Medusa to pop, (after going there on two separate occasions and having her not be up), I welcome the change. I don't even care if it would have taken me 6 days to try to farm up a Medusa pop, at least then I would have been able to tell my friends a time where we were definitely going to fight her.

    Sorry to say, but we do not have any plans for paladin to learn Shell V.
    I'm not exactly in tears over this drastic revelation, but I can't for the life of me figure out the logic behind this...

    Did you take note of the beastmen army level in besieged? I think that affected their repop..

    I don't mind lower repop times and all, considering there's enough to go around, provided their loot doesn't change

    Listen I fucking made alliances to kill those things in my LS and it went fucking phenomenal because I was awesome. Except the time we ran out to Gurfurlur only to see he wasn't there. (Though in my opinion, that is the fault of the person who logged out at his spawn and apparently logged on, moved himself off of the stand into a corner and died.)

    I know farming keys for Medusa (specifically bone) took a fucktarded amount of time, so if I went there and Medusa wasn't up I'd be pissed as shit. At least she has the easiest run.

    What I'm saying is that the ToAU Beastmen kings are p. fun fights, but I always delegated myself to holding adds or something cuz I was neurotic and felt others were incapable.

    Hippogryph: Level 86, thief type. Triple Attack activates as normal. Able to use Jettatura, Choke Breath, Back Heel, and Fantod. Really happy with the stats, but disappointing that they can’t use the Dispel ability, Nihility Song. I feel like the regular attacks powered up by Fantod are stronger than Back Heel. Was this adjusted making it weaker? Also it shows that Back Heel requires one charge, but it actually takes two. Is this a test server bug?
    Back Heel requires one charge, Fantod requires two.
    We felt Nihility Song was a bit overpowered, so we removed it. Apologies!
    Jettatura completely ignores resists currently, so we are planning to adjust this. There is also a chance that we remove it completely.

    Adamantoise: Level 96, high attack power, high defense, and slow. Definitely a turtle. Can use three abilities: Harden Shell, Turtle Stomp, and Aqua Breath. Does not have access to Head Butt, Tortoise Song, or Earth Breath. Turtle Stomp is just a normal physical weapon skill. Was it only certain NMs that had the added effect of defense down? Breath is capped at 400. While you can’t use the abilities for kited battles, seems like this guy makes a good tank.
    We are planning to make a couple adjustments and we’re also thinking about strengthening Aqua Breath.
