And once again I learn a new word from playing a video game.
Vocab +1
It has been a while since I moved away from PS2, but I believe that pushing the triangle button will do the same thing as the + button does to see the compass/clock while in combat. I set up my PC controller with the same button layout and configuration as the PS2 controller, and that button does the trick for me.
Why the fuck are the Mithra animations so badass (ib4 Mithra > all)
houmaigod that polearm ws
I'm going to have to start playing again just for that Great Sword WS.
Multi-hit GS WS. A challenger appears!
You know, at least you guys are getting new weapon skills, BLMs and other mages get new spell tiers, PUPs got overhauled, BSTs get new pets all the time, etc.
Summoner gets nothing.
I'd also like to know who's using Double Slap over anything learned past that level these days. I'm sure BLMs are still using Thunder IV as well right?
See, dumb comparison is dumb. Getting a new tier of BPs would obviously lead to them being used unless SE is completely braindead which could be the case when it comes to developing new options for Summoner.
Also last I checked all the WS introduced ever since the cap was raised are useful in one way or another.
I can only hope. Jesus DRG looks fucking hot.
I hope either the Scythe or Greatsword WS is actually better than what is currently available to DRK. Otherwise I'm sure we'll all emowrists more so than usual
Well Torcleaver is 4.75 - 6.5 ftp so not necessarily. Plus, just because it looks like it's 5 hit doesn't mean it actually will be. There's other WS'es that look like they should be more hits than they actually are.
I'm hopeful that it will be (and I think it probably will be), but saying it 100% will be at this point would be stupid.
Truth be told, I saw the road SE was taking with Scholar and Regen back to when it was first implemented. Why they didn't do it sooner is beyond me, though. When they say "vote", I hear "Hippogryph jug".
Still does not fix the fact that overall, Scholar is a sub-par job. At best, it's a patch healer with some nuking ability. With helices accessible to all (only to have damage level as a differentiation), the joke that Cure IV/Regen was during Abyssea (where I stopped), and some job-defining abilities being made available, there is no reason to bring a SCH main as a primary role. SCH who know how to play will still have something, but the clueless ones are better off leveling something else.
Christ, it feels like playing a Druid in EverQuest all over again, to the letter.
Oh my, dat great sword ws!
