They knew that they didn't have to bother to fix their files to make the test server features playable because that you would do it for them. They aren't lazy, they are brilliant at outsourcing.

If by "hire", you mean "have the community do everything for free because we have 3 people working on the game but are still charging you the same price", then they probably would.

The forthcoming version update is scheduled to shimmy down the chimneys of good boys and girls in the middle of December.

While the level cap increase to 99 may be the most widely discussed implementation, that's not the only thing happening in Vana'diel! New job abilities and spells will of course accompany the increase, but players can also look forward to the third chapter of Voidwatch, new walks in the Walk of Echoes, and improvements to the game's interface.

14 new WSs, 95->99, apparently new WoE chambers. New Voidwatch. New spells, likely new JAs, etc. I was actually just hoping this morning that I hoped they'd update soon because otherwise we'd get overwhelmed with stuff to put on the wiki, lol.

Ya, Relic+3 is supposed to be enhancements for various merit stuff, so I'm sure a lot if it will remain useful as macro gear if nothing else. As far as the Nyzul gear goes, first of all it's probably a ways out, and second it'll probably be an insanely time-consuming process to upgrade since there are four intermediate stages.

I strongly doubt they'll do Relic+3 before they revamp group 1&2 merits like they said. What would be the point in designing gear to enhance stuff that's just going to be changed soon.

Agreed, I was too lazy to double quote but I was responding to both calinz and Spira - What I was trying to say is that the Nyzul +5 armor is certainly better than Relic+2 in almost all cases, but the Relic+3 will probably be unique enough that it will still be situationally better then Nyzul +5 because of the merit-related augments.
