    I think they meant a 5 hit 2-3 critical rampage... Why are we supposed to choose between a level 60 WS that we get naturally and a WS that takes 100 merits to get...

    Exactly, shouldn't it be, naturally gained WS < Merit WS < Empy/Relic/Mythic WS? That's standard goddamn logic.

    Edit: With the emp/relic/mythic weapons obviously.

    same here, when I read that I thought it was talking about drk since alot of us have suggested non-interrupted casting.

    Attack rounds lost to casting is an issue PLDs, DRKs, RDMs, and BLUs all face. Maybe not so much BLU since their spells tend to be relatively quick and/or carry a utility worth using (Stun), but it's kind of laughable to imply an occasional Drain and some Absorbs would push DRK grossly past WAR in letting them keep the swings they would've lost. I'd also see Entropy being a bit more handy as a result.

    I have no idea if it's possible to go over Ito/Tanaka's heads, but if it was it wouldn't be something a non-JP speaker could do that's for sure. The worst part is that the JP boards are just as up in arms about this bullshit as we are - moreso really, since most of the anger posts in the English forums get 10-15 likes, while anger posts in the JP forums are getting 100+.

    For Shijin Spiral:

    1 merit = ~ Ascetic's Fury outside Abyssea
    2 merits = meh

    Personally, I'd prefer a 40/55/70/85/100 WSC progression instead of 20/40/60/80/100, so that you can at least reach a level roughly on par with standard weaponskills with just a couple merits.

    Theres no need to "go over there heads" just stop paying them, cancel and play something else, eventually they'll get the fucking point that they're doing a piss poor job. It always baffles me that people are like abused wives in this game, get shitted on with bad content, put up really stupid changes that make no sense to anyone who actively plays the game yet still shells out 15-30+ $ a month to them.

    I didn't like the direction of the game, so I quit giving them money, if everyone did the same then they would have to start changing their tune and actually having to put some effort into design choices. You can always keep in touch with your friends through vent/skype or the 25 other chat programs on the net without having to pay monthly for a game where you think their choices are dumb and the content is lackluster etc.

    The problem is that if everyone took your approach then SE would just say "Oh the game isn't profitable anymore." and turn off the servers.

    Whats the point? They're not listening anyway, all they're doing is frustrating people with stupid decisions and when the players cry foul they just make up a BS excuse about "game balance" when the game has never, ever been balanced in nine years, they've never been good at game balance and have screwed the pooch even more everytime they try to "balance" something.
