We have identified the following issue after the version update that took place on Dec. 14, 2011.

- An issue wherein equipping a relic or mythic weapon, whose level requirement is 90 or above, as a sub-weapon will enable status effects that are not intended.

We are currently in the process of testing fixes to address this issue.

PW dropping the Mythic 99 item and then having said item being needed at the sum of a possible 500-1000 is the greatest troll SE has ever pulled off. Ever.

This makes the Alexandrite trial look like putting on a pair of socks.

I don't know if I should laugh maniacally, facepalm at the epic stupidity, pull a Shatner and yell Tanaka at the sky or just shrug my shoulders and mumble 'just as planned'.

Is this confiremd, because it was only an assumption by myself. People still didnt find out where the new trial items drop for empy/mythic/relic

There are two main questions which will have to be determine before true hate can be determined: Is PW the only place where this item drops and two what is going to be the offical number for the trial itself. Without knowing that much I can really claim disaster just yet.

Even if they were retarded enough to make level 99 Mythics require 1,000 scoria(s?) that only drop from PW, there's no doubt they'll lower that to a maximum of 10... Even if you could farm a PW pop and kill it once every 24 hours it would still require almost three years of play to complete the trial, and that's assuming the thing is a 100% drop. Honestly I think there's some misinformation floating around about the trial - there's no way the requirement can conceivably be greater than 10 scoria.

Seriously the FACT itself that the item drops from Pandemonium warden is garbage (infact I am ready to believe that screenshot because noone has found the upgrade items yet, and SE stated they are allready in the game, how many times do people fight PW?), 2. The FACT that not the killshot but an item is needed to upgrade is utter failure on itself, especially for a mob like PW, where farming a pop for it is really time consumeing. Now the number on the Test server was 500 for mythics... yeah good luck finishing that mythic in maybe 3 years, and thats when you are doing ZNM constantly... Even if the number is as low as 5 and you have maybe 3 mythics in your shell, you are looking at 15+ PW fights, because I seriously dont believe that thing will drop 100% in all fight, knowing SE...

The best hope is that the item also drops off the T3-T4 ZNM which seems unlikely given the last trial involved killing them to reach 95.

Perhaps the item requirements will be chopped down but PW is completely obsolete so the incentive to get people to repeat him seems unlikely beyond the initial buzz of "OMG I BEAT PW"

Tanaka is the type of guy that'd hold a press conference, be asked about insane requirements for 99 mythics, slowly digest the question, light a cigarette, blow out a puff of smoke like the Herman Cain ad and utter one statement: "Deal with it." followed by walking off stage.

If there is one thing I've learned about this guy I have never met is that he doesn't give a fuck. He'd make every zoneline a JP midnight lockout if he could under the banner of balance.

Makes me so glad I don't pay that guy's paycheck anymore by supporting XI. I think people with imaginary friends are more intouch with reality than that guy. SE needs to start randomly drug testing these people on a weekly basis. I guess Tanaka got bullied as a kid all through-out his school years and is that guy who goes through life saying "I'LL SHOW YOU!"
